Now I just got the patch updated and it`s brilliant, as expected!
But one question: How can I get other balls in the game?

I found the online pay with this patch somewhat jumpy. I thought it was the connection lagging at first but every game seemed to be like this (over 5 days). I put in the original and everything worked perfectly even against the same players that I had played against minutes earlier.

if you dl the updates plus the update fix then that is meant to improve the first problem you mentioned not sure about the 2nd one though

i dont patch other balls in the game -> the balls i think are fine

k, struggling with this, using dvd+rw, do they work? have followed the instructions exactly but the disk keeps just ticking in the drive and doesnt do anything. If i put the disk in without the swapmagic it seems to spin properly, and as expected comes up with not a valid ps2 format. just wondering why it doesnt then spin when booted with swapmagic?

some PS2s read DVD+rw and some don't.... guess ur machine don't read it.... the only way i got my patched games to work is to stock up on my dvd-r's and try try try....

No. The only balls I like is the Nike-balls. The umbro balls and the other balls is boring. Couldn`t u make some more Nike- or Adidasballs instead?

for my online friends, a make a nonpublic.ppf with changes background (blue) for better view.

but save your iso (ppf1+ppf2+fix+update+update_fix) !!! thats a really small one -> 79,6 KB (81.543 Bytes)

The safest bet is using dvd-r's.... it works on virtually 70 or 80% of existing machines.... dvd+r is a pretty newer standard....

ID?... erm.. i dunno mate... i just rip the iso using dvd decrypter... n delete here delete there.... and rebuilt the iso with cdgen.... erm... u need an ID to play online? If tat's the case, i dont need to go find out bout the ID cause my machine is the fat ass ps2...
