PES5 vs WE9?

I got both the games. But it seems the gameplay differs...

In my short experience, PES5 seems easier than WE9. CPU team in WE9 seems to be faster to take the ball from you. I played the same team with same players in both game (Real Madrid -me vs USA-CPU). In PES5, I scored 4-0 on average whereas in WE9 I did not even get a decent chance. The CPU team was always taking the ball from me and was appearently faster. Eventually I scored against CPU, but that was only in extra time and in penalty.

Is AI in WE9 smarter than that of PES5 or is it just faster?

What other differences are there between them? Do you prefer one over that other? (if you have played both of them?)

Having played both, like Zyg, I would say I prefer PES5.

The first thing that was noticeable playing PES5 is that its slightly faster paced than WE9.

Wouldn't say I've found PES5 easier necessarily. It seems to be different in that the opposition doesn't seem to string thousands of passes together without you having a hope in hell of winning the ball, as was the case in WE9 at times. The number of free kicks given in a game seems to have been toned down in PES5, which was a cause of a lot of frustration in WE9, as you couldn't really get a flowing game going...too much stop-start.

I've found it equally as hard to break down the CPU defences but funnily enough I've played a couple of games with Real Madrid too which I've won 3-0 and 4-0. Its usually the case (with me anyway, same was true in PES4) that in games like that, I have a blinding half scoring goals for fun and then I'm completely on the back foot and under pressure in the second half...and usually fail to add to my goal tally. (Half Time scores were 3-0 in both games)

Other than the games with Madrid I've scored very few goals really and that was the case with WE9.

Pes5=winner

I think Pes5 is better in we9 the game didnt flow because the refs stoped for fouls all the time, i also think that the players are alot more realistic looking. In we9 robinho, baptista, woodgate, swp all looked rubbish but in pes5 they have been updated and look alot better!

pes5, well better graphics touched up slightley, better gameplay the refs are better plus there arn't as many clones players look like there ment to with onley a few as exceptions.
