Ok, I am asking a question that might of been answered before, but please bare with me, as I am new with this. I know the PS2 has to be chipped or modded for this patch to work, I got that, but I have WE9I, would this patch work for it even though it's modded? Would it just convert WE9I to PES5? PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS..I really want this patch.

There....calm down....go and take some seroxat.....anyway, this CANNOT be done. A patch is entirly different from an option file.

Diference 1) A patch is usually about 1GB in size, and option file is only around 800kb
Difference 2) To apply a patch, you have to create a disc image of Pro Evo on your computer and add the files to this image. An option file is transfered from the computer to the memory card (ever heard of a 1GB memory card save?).
Difference 3) Option files (.max or .xps) are found in the Option files section of the forum, So don't look in the Playstation 2 downloads section hoping to find a file to transfer to memory card.
The Playstation 2 section is only for patches.

Sorry andy this isn't just directed at you, but at all of the people who have asked the same question over and over and over again, it has already been answered many times before. Thanks.

Ok, thanks. I guess it would be easier to just buy PES5 from like Ebay or something...Though I really don't understand why every year there has to be two separate versions of basically the same game..WE and PES..there couldn't of been just one.

If you want to sacrifise one of the leagues in PES5 for the Japan League that is the only way it could be done. Personally, I don't think so.

I am following the steps at them moment but i am very wary about loosing online play and i cannot understand the 'Warning 1! if you want to play online you must use the optional 0text season 05-06 online only! but you will lose a lot of faces, all new players, all new stats and more... so my advise its to burn 2/3 iso, one for online season 05/06, and another one for offline season 05/06 and 06/07, with the 0text v5 for online only, and the 0text from wemerica patch v5x.' bit!!

Brillant patch, love it all, though not all of the English teams have the new season kits (Blackburn), Its ok though.

Keep up the great stuff, looking forward to more patches by WEMERICA.

Will you be releasing a updated option file when the transfer window closes?
