PES6 Difficulty

I think, there is another 6 level, that you can UNLOCK it when you'll gain points...

Anyway, lad. I'm finding your impression about HOW EASY the PES6 is, quite odd. Except, if you're spending over 5-6 hrs per day, by playing it!
I'm ALSO a very good PES player, playing WITHOUT a "game-pad" (I own a GREAT one, but I CAN'T use to it!)...
I've started the PES6 in the next level of the "Regular" one (I can't recall the name of the level)... I'm playing with the "Reds" (how... "odd" for me! Hahaha!), my top players are great with the ball... but CPU's players are ALSO good enough, to CUTTING me off!
In 10 games in the row, I've won 5 of them, I have 3 draws and 2 losts...
Friends of mine that playing the PES5 but NOT SO MUCH (spending hrs, I mean...), they have SERIOUS problems with the difficulty...
Perhaps, I didn't check, KONAMI made LYON as an OUTSTANDING team, with SUPERB attributes! My LFC, is a great team, but OF COURSE not the top of all!
So, maybe the reason of your "easy-play" is LYON...
Try to take and play... OLYMPIAKOS FC (the Greek champions' team), finding it in the "Rest of World" folder. It's a team with red/white stripes on their shirt... Or, try the other Greek team ("Athinaikos FC" - which is ACTUALLY... the team of Athens, PANATHINAIKOS FC)... That specific team... SUCKS! Hahahaha!...
So, try to play with WORST teams to check the game (I'm ALWAYS doing that! I've played my FIRST PES6 game with the... Greek National team! HAHAHA!). It's a BETTER way to check a footy game.
On the other hand, go and check LYON's attributes! I BET, KONAMI gave... "1970's Brazil National Team" attributes to LYON!!!

AI is better this time around, your players seem to support you better than in previous PES. Althought seems the opponent's defense do a better job at pressing your players. The overall difficulty isnt that hard, that's why i asked if there was another level of difficulty.

im finding regular easier than 3 stars on PES5 i'm getting more chances and goals which is good just the right balance, though the cups games i'm finding harder, got knocked out in the first round! International matches are also harder especially if your playing with england

I don't know... Perhaps you're a "game-pad MASTER" and the game is "favoring" the game-pad's users.
With my keyboard, I'm finding this game quite challenge-full...

Yea... my thoughts exactly. For an expert PES player (I think I am so...), the game is NOT THAT difficult, but also NOT SO easy too...
Was it REALLY required for you to abuse him for THAT?
Go find something worthwhile to rant about would you.
Back on topic, I have not tested all the difficulty settings yet seeing as I got it today and have been out all day. I tried the normal difficulty so I could get used to the new game. It seemed to be a little more of a challenge than PES5. I'm not sure though, it was only 1 game.

i think its a challenging game.i have it on the top level as i like to test myself and i have been beaten by brazil,uruguay,france and a few others.last night i started a ml and decided to be west ham was winning the 1st game 1-0 with tevez scoring but managed to lose 2-1 against a poor side from holland i think.turned it off after that but will start annother one today.

have to admit. The AI can be tough.
Especially after you lead the game, the game gets tougher. And that makes me even want to beat them!
btw, i have experienced leading 2-0 at half time to being trashed 4-2 at full time.

I totally agree with the need of there being a higher difficulty setting for PES6.
This may sound really silly but bear with me...
I have been playing this football series since ISS Pro '98 on the PS1, and the general gameplay was kinda the same up until the release of PES3 on the PS2.
I think the gameplay changed quite cosiderably between PES 2 and PES3, at least I think so (that's when I stopped winning as much anyway).
So for Pro Evo 3,4 & 5, I was an average player (due to having ISS98 to PES2 engraved on my brain) but now I find I am back to my winning ways on PES6. To me, PES6 'feels' like the lost son of PES2.
Obviously PES6 is a far superior game to that of PES2 and rightfully so, and I also realise there has been tons of progress in the inbetween titles, so please don't shoot me down for this outrageous claim
