PES6 Shooting problem...

Ive never had so much problem with shooting on one game...if i just touch the button the ball flies of somewhere. Any pointers on how i can get past this problem....

use analog stick to aim, dont hold shoot button too long, use r2 to add more precision to shot, shoot with players with higher shot accuracy and technique. that should sum it up boss.

i actually have a problem with this sometimes, the shoot button and meter is way to sensitive. the ball would just sometimes not co operate. aiming for the right place is hard also, the ball seems to always go in the same direction whether you press up or down or diagonal.. -.- the actual shot placement seems to be the same alot of the time...

and does anyone ever use chip shot, is there any use for it? it doesnt even work properly. aim is off and wayyyyyy to sensitive.

Are you talking about the PC version?? I mean, I find it easy to shoot and score beauties in it the same as the PS2 version. The 360 version, now that's a lil tougher.

i really meant shooting from the side of the field. It either shoots up past the goal or into the netting.

Yeah, well, Pes is all about passing moves as you should know, so no more shooting from insane angles If ya wanna score a scorchio, face just about straight on to the goals and hammer it from 35 yards. just get the power bar to about halfway.

Man, I suffered from that a lot...

If you were new to PES then I'd give the advices you got here, but since you're probably a veteran I guess you know them.
If you're playing in PC, then maybe something is overburdening your computer which causes some delay in the reactions of the game.

Nevertheless, these are very important factors:
If the player is tired it will impair its shooting (significantly).
If you're used to playing with superstars you will be surprised how "average" players are shooting.
If the player is pressured by the defence, or if its body is positioned not ideally for a shoot, the ball will go high (even if the shoot power bar hardly moved).

Is there a trick to shooting from around 40 yards out?

I try to stay below half on the meter when shooting from distance, is that good?

Is it also smart to tap the shoot button twice to reach half way on the meter? Does it make a difference? Thanks for any tips.

press R2 when you are inside the area before pressing the shoot button

for a very close range free kick press O button about halfway or wichever u use for crossing.

what move does R2 represent?

shooting just head into practice mode till you the hang of it..
the R2 Makes the kicker sidefoot it more precision and usually bit of curl perfect for aiming at farposts

works dude..just make sure you aim for the far post and hope its on the kickers prefered foot or hes two footed
