i really enjoyed pro evo 2, 3 was a bit crap, 4 was awesome, 5 was different but better and 6 was too easy but still great and the last couple on the ps3 have been great with all the new technology. i think 2009 is the best so far but they've all been great to play.
maybe we're losing that "new game" feeling with it though as to explain the loss of excitement over the newer ones.
i remember getting a demo of pro evo 2 and was blown away by it, bought the full game straight away. after years of playing fifa (and sensible soccer in the early 90's
) it felt great to have a change. however, when i played fifa this year it felt good to have a change after so many years of playing pro evo, not better, i still prefer pro evo, but i got that "new game" feeling of playing something different.
maybe we've grown accustomed to pro evo and, as there's no radical changes to it, we don't get blown away by the new ones like we used to
