A few points and questions.
- This referal thing. Couldnt I just sign up as a different user, say that I refered myself to the board, and get points? If I didnt post on my other account there would be no way to check the IP's, and plus the IP of users on dial up changes all the time, so there would be no way to stop this from happening.
- I dont really see what the point of this is. You say it is to stop spamming, but I can only see it encouraging spamming. And apart from Txt Tlk, spamming is my pet hate.
- I use the light skin thing, as although my eyesight is absolutely spot on, it is much, much easier to read black text on a light background than white on black. Is there any way you could add these new features to the light one, as I was totally oblivious to this shop thing until I read this.
- Is there any way to stop people like Rangers FC flooding the board with pointless posts? I only ever post on the footy board, and occassionally the off topic one, but he keeps spamming the board with things like "who is your favourite keeper," "who is your favourite team," etc... Will these be added to his points tally, as I find it very unfair if he gets points for posting shite, but I only post when I have something valid to say, so am at a disadvantage...
- Finally, surely if you want to discourage spam, it would be better to have no advantages for posting more. Like, no points shop thing, and turn the post counts off?

a good thread is not controled by the creator, but the people who respond to it. if idots swarm into the thread, then it will quickly get sidetracked and ruined. if you have a good idea for a thread its best to post it when the most respected and thoughtful members (mutu, zyg, paul b, etc) are online, and then decent replys will be posted.thats my bullshit explination. its the best i can do

Quite worrying. I've just gone to the bank to withdraw my funds. Did this and took out the lot. Then went into a thread to see what I had altogether. It showed nothing. In a panic I went back to the bank and quickly deposited what I had taken out in hope of getting it back. Thankfully I did retieve all of my funds, but for a while I thought I had lost it.
So admins, can you please tell me, and garuantee that if I take my funds out the bank I won't lose them? I'm saving up and it's took ages to get what I've got now I'm worried about losing them.
Does it just take a while to update your points when you take them out the bank?

jmz.. i'm not trying to be one of the admins
when you withdraw your points.. it will take you to the confirmation place.. then after you confirm it.. you will see <points> withdrawn from the bank successfully! (Go back to the main bank page for it to update.)
click on the "main bank page"
