Play as a defender in Be A Legend mode

Apologies if this has been covered already, I'm sure it has but I couldn't find it.

The title leaves little else to say really! I'm imagine that due to its exclusion that there's a reason why you can't play as a defender, but I'd like to.

Didn't know it wasnt possible. It definetely should be. Well playing as a goalkeeper would probably be quite difficult because of the camera angle, and the way of controlling i assume..

I'd love to play as CB or libero! GK would require a dramatic augmentation of the game's control scheme, but other defensive positions wouldn't take anything special. The autochase thing it forces on you when the ball is nearby would be a pain in the ass, though.

Konami could put the camera angle low over the shoulder of the keeper maybe having the goal slightly transparent should you step back to the goal line and you'd have to time the dives and direction to make a save, X could punch/kick and A could catch.

the main problem would be standing around for 90 mins should you sign for the top sides, only having to deal with the odd shot or two.

i'd go for it as keeper is actually my preffered position anyway.

Well, they should make it possible to play as defenders, and as referees too! I would like to show those crazy damn defenders how to flag a penalty :realmad:! lol

I'd happily play as a CB, because I've played as striker twice and midfielder once already.

I would not turn down the chance of becoming a Defender or sweeper either. I love Konami as much as the next guy but sometimes they should Just sit down with the true fans and Ask us what we want, Make the game more realistic, Pay for the Licensing (Yes it would cost a bomb but the money You get back in sales should cover this) Lets see the 'Fifa fans' comment on Pes when we have the license as well as them and better game play.

I played as a defender in PES 2009. My position actually is DMF, but my team doesnt play a DMF, so they put me in RB.
