Play Waalwijk vs Willem II - Beautiful PES Football

Yes, play as Waalwijk vs Willem II. Both these teams are in Dutch Eredivisie (last two in their list). Play a 30-min match involving these two teams in a stadium of your choice. Play with Waalwijk in their home kit and Willem II in their away kit.

Just do exactly as I've mentioned. You can see that the football on display is so beautiful and very close to realism. You don't get this kind of football in PES when you play as Chelsea or Man Utd or Barca or Real Madrid. Just think why. I think I have found the answer, almost.

My next version (v2) of my option file is all about this. Hope to release it some time next week or the week after that.

It's true that playing these kind of sides is much more fun than playing the likes of Man Utd and Barça because you don't have to resist the temtation of dribbling past everyone with the likes of Messi, Rooney etc.
It's just that I don't always have the patience to play for 30 mins, but it's definately worth a try for a difference.

juventus vs roma is fun too, neither side have fast players in their starting XI. buffon's probably the fastest hahaha

My thoughts, exactly. Even in ML, playing with a weaker team is more fun than with a top-flight club.

It kinda gets annoying when the keeper makes silly mistakes (more so with a weaker keeper than with Cech or Buffon), but other than that, loads of fun.

To top it all, every goal that you score is infinitely more rewarding than a Rooney/Eto'o/Ibrahimovich tap-in after rounding the keeper.

Yeah true. Playing with lower level teams seems to be better. But it's all because of speed.

I've already passed the Eredivisie, Ligue 1 and Serie A, and must say that the first one was most enjoyable.

I just started to update all the teams with your edits and then spotted that you have some more. Great work, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have come up with now. Just out of curiosity, what level do you play on?

^But somehow the game makes big teams faster than they really are. So basically it's because of cheating too.

While I wait for my OF memory card to arrive I have started Master League with FC twente (Eredivisie), and it has been the best footballing experience I have ever had on any console/football title. The game plays at a beautiful speed! I am currently fighting for a Europa League spot sitting 7th in the table over halfway through the season. Haha... I just brought in my big signing of the year (Kanu lol) and I loved the big spray he got from the commentary team on his debut (vs PSV)... costing the team big money (which he did). He then went on to score and set one up... I am so glad I left FIFA for this beautiful game =)

Not really mate. The average top speed of Chelsea's first eleven is 80 and that of Waalwijk is 76. It's not speed.

Also, use a BAL editor and give your player 99 top speed, accelration and 90 dribble speed. Notice how every opponent, from Stoke to Barcelona runs faster than you when you run _towards_ their goal, but not otherwise. (Top Player)

One of the reasons Professional match level is "better" in my eyes.

I urge people to try Ligue 1 as well as Eredivisie when playing BAL.
I've had my funniest seasons in Groningen and Bordeaux.
Ligue 1 is the "natural" step up when your player becomes too good for Eredivisie (75+).
You can easily stay in Ligue 1 the remainder of the career and have a well balanced and rewarding game.

I spent some time in Ajax as well, but they did not play as funny as Groningen at all, I played Left Midfield in Groningen and Left Winger in Ajax, but the matches was simply funnier in all aspects when I played for Groningen, despite their butt ugly kits, colours and godawful name.

All time funniest team to play for, however is definetly Bordeaux. no explanation needed, just try it.

ps. I had a rewarding stay in Tottenham as well, but I am quite biased when it comes to spurs, so might be a good reason why I enjoyed it. Anyway, the key thumb rule is "stick to the middle flight teams" for quality of experience, I have yet not enjoyed big team spells as much as the above mentioned.
