Ok I know it's still early days but I'm falling in love with this game!!!

I've just started a Champions League campaign with Man City on Top Player. And I've got to say - Konami have really impoved the presentation this year!! Something as small as the Group tables look superb and have a real TV presentation style to them :)

My first game of the group was away to Sporting. I've got to say the thing I'm most happy with so far is the player individuality and the long balls. At long long last it is actually really worth playing a long ball to the opposite wing because, with a good passer, they are really accurate!

Anyway, I actually ended up losing 3-2 to Sporting in an absolute thriller!!! My equalising goal to make it 2-2 was, even if I say so myself, pure poetry!! I played 5 or 6 intricate passes between Barry, Adebayor and then up to Tevez, who turned into two defenders to draw them in and then passed the perfect through ball to Robinho, who controlled with one foot and slipped it under the keeper with the other :w00t

It's the sort of moments above that I'm really excited about. They've been missing from the last couple of games, but they seem to be back in PES 2010! :D

As I say, I've only played 7 games so far so it's still early days but the early signs are very very good from me - I'm falling in love with PES all over again! :)

i drew most of my matches 0-0 vs my pes mate...

it was a quite dry afair all round really..

did u find a lot of collisions led to an odd loss of ball control?

and that when u try and run/cut behind an opponent, it can often catch his heels and go the wrong way, losing you possession?

The collisions def aren't a strong point. Some times they look realistic but sometimes, as you say, the ball just pings up in the air or 5 yards in front.

I like the fact that you can't just cut in all the time and beat a man though. I've played a few games with Man City and Robinho seems very good at beating his man, so it may just depend on how good the players ball control is?

well my move is to look like im shaping to go ouside, and then cut back inside a player.. unfortunately now even when i sell him the ticket to moscow, his backwards facing heels still clip the ball and my dribble comes to a premature conclusion:/

oh yea and PATO runs amok regardless.

I'm really jealous. After finally getting UK Mail to get of their arse to find my game, they called me this afternoon. Despite having my correct address and postal code they managed to deliver it to an estate I've never heard of 100 miles away from where I live. The driver as we speak is picking it back up and bringing it to me!!

One thing I don't like is how hard it is (not to say impossible) to keep the ball under pressure....

Most of the times you'll get out-muscled or tackled away from the ball.

The game is totally a simulation.. Dont play it if you like arcade-football.. The realism factor is strongest to the date.. I make 30 mins match and I didnt see any match over 4 goals in total.. After you master in tactics, it become even more enjoyable.. I like the new tactic implemantion and AI defence too much.. Of course there are some minor problems existing in gameplay manner, but I have to admit that PES is in the right direction again afterwards, it is now impossible to stop Konami in future versions..
I wish to have below implementaions in future versions:
- option of choosing manual passing type(TYPE 4- TYPE5)
- More consistent refrees ( it can also be revised with a patch in PEs2010)
-more editing options (short socks etc..)
- more teams and licencing
- better GK animations
- customizable cameras or "Camera tilting at least for wide camera"

Also I live in USA and I am waiting for PES 2010P.C UK version , will I be able to play PES 2010 ONLINE IN UK server
