played the full game tonight

It definitely feels like a different game from PES 2009... to give you an example, in 2009 i made around 50-60 passes a game.... in 2010 I've yet to have a game with less than 100 passes!

I have no doubt, like all PES games, that in the future I'll get fully adapted to it, and then I'll think it's the best PES ever....
I've had that feeling with all PES (since ISS Pro Evolution) except for 2008.

Good news hopefuly the need for passin will make the gap between teams lesser like in real life.

Like before you would just run to barca and eto and messi could run from anywhere and score, even the best players would find it hard to defend.

If now you need to pass more then the stupidly fast players wont win games on there own!

A more technical and realistic game sounds good!

I am a little pissed of at the review posted on this thread. He only talks about gameplay and nothing else. Of course gameplay is the most important factor, but surely the ML, BAL, Online and other modes will have pushed that score to at least 8/10 for the overall game?

Oh yeah and another thing Dean7879, if you did do the review based entirely on gameplay, then at least state that at the top of the review.

im a old enough fan of the series to know how good it will be. it gets a 7/10 from me because i think gameplay is the most important factor. you may prefer style over substance like most fifa fans but i dont.

A gaming experience should have:
Gameplay
Graphics
Story (in this case it cannot count)
For ps3 and X360, online
Soundtrack
Presentation
Modes
And in football games the gameplay is divided into parts like:
Individuality
Team's feeling
Enjoyability is the biggest factor
Longitiviety (well it's part of the gameplay but not 100% part of it)
passing, crossing and shooting (basic stuff)
etc..
Gameplay has the bigger points but gameplay alone won't make a game shine and stand out.

I'm not getting PES 2010 till I complete all of the leagues/cups and a few seasons on the master league in 2009. I stopped playing it for a while but have started playing it again.
Lag in 2010? Not good at all.

mind you, from what i have played of the demo... there isn't that much lag compared to the travesty of past games ... but again thats just comparing to previous versions.. but imo the online is a step in the right direction this year

Did you have any problems getting online? PC version?
Does it use the same ports? (PC)

although compared to pervious versions this one seems better online, hopefully it will carry through onto pc also.. and hopefully someone on here also on pc will help you where i cannot..

to me gameplay makes the game shine. i want to enjoy what im playing. i have/ theres no point having all the other things if the gameplay is shite

i have no problem playin we10 on the ps2. i enjoy it more than pe2010
because the gameplay is immense

The game is good/very good. Not great imo though ive only played 1 match offline and 4 online. I think its fun to play and some games are great but the lack of animation means there isnt alot of variety in what you see on the pitch.

A red connection can be annoying online and causes unplayable button delay in some case but does get better as the match progresses. My first match was 2-1 against Utd using City. I had it on Pro and i gotta say Utd's AI was really lacking. I had it on Pro which to be fair isnt easy but it felt it. I mean they came forward a few times but i was so in control, had time on the ball everywhere and could play exactly how i wanted. They scored from basically their onl shot. I won with 2 Adebayor goals.

I am not as excited as i thought i would be at having it. Definetly a good game though and will have longevity. Online looks very addicting. Theo Walcott is so good on this game. VP is rated really good and Arshavin is great. I strongly recomend using Arsenal guys and if you wanna use a lesser team Lazio are quality aswell.

I suggest if you dont have it try to lower your expectations a little. Its a really good game but not the Be all and end all some are making it out as.

What about if you go to system settings --> languages .. do you have the option to change commentaries or is it just the in-game texts? What about the languages/commentaries available in the game?

I respect your views on PES2010. It's just that I think it's a little early to judge the game. Give it time, say 2 or 3 weeks, then tell us what you think.
I'm not saying you will like it more then, i'm just saying you'll get a better understanding of the game.

By the way, i'm not just a FIFA fan, i'm a PES fan too.
