I bought Anelka, and have had him for about a year. But in the end of the first season i get a development update. and many of his stats gets worse. And hes only 25. His stats should improve after every game? Why doesnt it happen?

I created my own team too.. And now im trying to buy Adriano. On the scale of how much he wants to join my team he has two stars.. But still they wont accept my offer which is 6000 higher than asking price. And i give him 3-400 more wage than he has in inter

This is the second time I started a ML with my own team.. I am now on place 50 in the WEFA ranking. The first time I started a ML with my own team I could buy players like Adriano when I get in the top 10 of the WEFA ranking...

conclusion: depending on your WEFA ranking it is hard to get players like Zidane, Adriano etc..

Go to player development.. that is their development curve.. once that starts going down.. or levelling out they will not gain points.. they will lose them... diff players have different curves.. players like nedved and pires have the opposite type, they have it so they gain points slowly over the years and peak in their early 30s...

Christiano Ronaldo for me, is 20 and he has already peaked out so it is dependant on what kind of player they are...

Okey. Got it, but is there a way to look at a players curve before u buy him. It sucks, if all of my players will deteriate through many seasons. If i save my team and play againts a mate, would the actual stats count, or will the development still be there in a exhibition match..?

No there is not, but you safely can assume that players go higher as long as they didn't reach the age of 25. Every player younger than that will grow. After 25 they go down. This is a rule of the thumb of course. As Mr Sarcasm said there are also other types, but that is a minority.
