So I was wondering what affect this has on game-play compared to when It's off? I usually play 2 player with friends and I realized It's been on this whole time. Does the home team have an advantage with this setting on? Because since I'm just playing 2 player I don't want anyone with unfair advantages.

Fairly sure it'll make players a bit more pumped up playing at home as obviously it has a home crowd advantage. I'm not sure if that's exactly the case, but supposedly that's how it works.

If they're going to be one off games it's probably best to turn it off. Especially if you are playing at neutral sites.
