I exported all the Deleted Players with preset faces that I could find onto Euro and World Classic Teams.

The advantage of using this method is that it does not mess up your existing master league players (if you didn't check the "classic player" option when starting ML). It just puts those players in Euro and World classics and from there you are free to base copy them over fake players or created players as you wish. It may create duplicates temporarily but after you get the players you want, you can reset the Classic Teams or just import another Classic Team option file over them

I hope option file makers can make use of this when they want to create new option file to make sure all preset faces are present

Big thanks to Vialli82's bin files and excel file from the Base licensed copy thread. I found a total of 96 unique preset faces, so exported them onto 3 teams (Euro Classics twice and World Classic once)

Method:

1) Import EuroBaseCopy1.bin and WorldBaseCopy1.bin , keep second tick box checked
2) Copy players you need from EuroBaseCopy1.bin
3) Import EuroBaseCopy2.bin, keep second tick box checked
4) Copy Players as you wish
5) Reset Classic Players with another OF

Are you sure you didn't forget any players with preset faces ? (Odemwingue, Chammak, Fred, ...)

I have a theory: these players were not deleted at all. They were simply made inaccessible, as their faces are evidently still in the game, and I doubt that these many High-Res faces would take up 8KB in size.

The bin files have IDs associated with them.

- Team ID, Team Name, Team Emblem (pointer)
- Stadium ID, Stadium Name, Stadium Pic (pointer)
- 1st Player on list ID, Player Name, Stats, Attributes etc.
- 2nd Player on list ID... and so on

Using a PC we could decode the bin file to easily manipulate these, not only saving time editing on PS4 (and potentially importin from a CSV file), but would enable us to use Player IDs of inaccessible players, such as the ones deleted from the game with updates AND maybe even official classics like Rivaldo, Ronaldo and perhaps even Maradona.

Too bad I can't decrypt the bin file even if my life depended on it

I think I got everyone that is present in vialli82's exports. now that you mention it, I have odemwinge but not chamakh and fred. if you can find more players that are missing and can link me to an OF with them in teams (not free agents), i can create a WorldBaseCopy2.bin

Yes your theory is a fact. Konami did this for pes 2015 and 2016 as well but then we didn't have option to export bin's

For all pes it has been always the same way, but unfortunately the tools developed for ps4 had been surprisingly slow.

I found there is a issue searching for the players. Example Santa Cruz, it was on my file but if I go edit- transfer to search for the player he will not be found. Although it is not for every player, example Carlos Martin no issues in searching him.

The problem is after importing Santa Cruz and a few others if i use the search function i cannot find them by name.
Could be unrelated, but I found that when I released any player who no longer officially exists in the game, they disappear into thin air. If they're assigned to a team it's fine, but when they're unassigned, they disappear from view.

Guess we have to start using create players. Keep those that are still playing.

Same thing happened to me. Transferred players directly from Classic Teams to their respective teams or free agency, reloaded original OF I had (yours, Chris) and then they disappeared.

Had to do it again, this time "creating" each player by base copying them. Reloaded original OF and they're all still there. Seems to be the way to do it.

I somehow doubt it. They are MyClub exclusive and if only gained there, they appear in ML. That being said, ML is probably the only place they appear offline, right? We would need to have them available in edit mode in order to export?

I cant say for sure, because I dont use MyClub.

I'm 90% sure that one of the info screens that appears while your ML save is loading (between dates) says "look out for classic players in MyClub, who you can then use in your ML", or something like that!

You can save your MyClub team data and use it to start a new ML with your MyClub team (including any legends you acquired).

You cannot, however, edit or base-copy legends or use them in any other mode. Which means you also can't share them.
