Players come back after retirement

Hi Im new

In my master league i have just found david beckham aged 17 in the glasgow rangers team, also van der sar aged 18 in man utd squad, i have used rosh's option file which is superb but is this common do players come back?

Hi.
I believe this is common. I don't use any option files and the same is happening in my master league, so I would think that this is independent from option files.

it always been like that on pes...once a playe retired he reborn at age 17...with lowered stats obviously

its completely random. Sometimes they are unsigned for their first few years as well. So you might want to keep a look out to scout players who are new to master league or unsigned every start of the season so you can snatch them up without paying another club a transfer fee.

Not sure - has happened once to me. Favalli (SB - AC Milan) retired two years in and suddenly appeared in the youth squad during year 5. However, Dida (GK) I kept on the squad in the reserves until he retired. After retirement I noticed Ajax signed him from their youth squad - so I have no idea if it is random

I think they reborn the season after their retirement.

As for the club where they appear, it is completely random. Van der Sar, for instance, who retires at the beginning of either the first or second season, always comes up (mostly) in another team. I noticed the young Edwin likes the spanish league... :tongue:

I believe the players are re-generated at the club they either retire at / or start off at - when starting the master league.
For instance... Giggs & Van Der Sar have both been re-born at Man Utd. As has Inzaghi, Ronaldinho at Milan.
However, I have just signed the re-born Cannavarro, Van Bronkhorst, Henrik Larrson... but they've lost their commentary name. Bad glitch!!!

dont worry mate loads do. on mine materazzi came back through youth at inter and james through pompy its normal

It's worth keeping an eye on as you can get the biggest stars before they are absurdly expensive. I'm trying to buy a 17-year old Beckham from Porto.
