Players form in MLO.

Just wondering. Should you buy players in form ( red or orange) or go for out of form players? I bought a couple of players on green.

Should you release players on blue or purple unless they're superstars like Messi, Ronaldo etc...?

Just looking for some tips.

i usually just look for players on the up so i can give him a 20 game contract at least, so i usually buy the player when he's blue. But then i have a huge squad, meaning i can wait for one or two days for my player to become orange or red again. but seriously this form thing is absolutely retarded

I can't believe form stays for a few days! Didn't realise that and bought roux and he has been down since the start... Really gutted.

form is fairly systematic TBH - looking at the variables, it is easy to calculate how a players form will go - and for how long.

for sure, you can see whether a player is on the up or going down. however i just don't like this one bit, it takes out the point of having the condition stat, which was probably the only thing stopping people from having robben, messi, ribery, robinho in the same lineup due to their poor form stat. now it's just easy mode.

*go look on market for speed merchants on red arrow, buy, tape down the sprint button and pwn*

Let me play a deep defensive line and little pressing, be careful not as to where the SM is but where he will be after the next sprint animation and no problems

I wouldn't release any players if they've still got a fair amount of games left in their contract. If I understand correctly how the system works, you'll be throwing money away when releasing such players.

Its better to just leave him in the squad and either use someone else or buy someone else. If you don't have any cash then just use the out of form player.

to be honest, unless the player is messi or ronaldo, you would definitely benefit from selling him and get another player on red arrow, unless you have a big squad like me, where you can just stick him to the bench, not losing in mlo is essential if you want to earn money fast

Yeah if a player is purple and you hae a big enough squad - you sell him. Thats why long contracts are only going to be cost effective when you have setttled on your final squad

If you have one player on purple. I have about 6 and another 5 on blue. They're midway through their 10 game contracts so If I release I lose money.

The ideal scenario is too have a massive squad. Have half your squad on purple/blue and the other half red/orange.

How many players are you allowed to have in a squad though? I'm aiming for about 40 if it's possible.

The maximum squad size is 32.

I bite the bullet and keep my players in the team or on the bench until their contracts expire - before selling them on. This does mean playing them off form at times, but I can cope with one or two below par per game.

I guess so. But I've given most of my players 50 game contracts so I'm not going to release anyone if they get out of form.

I'm going to have to resist simply upgrading all the time and sometimes invest in a few reliable alternatives of similar quality so that I can rotate.
