Oh, yes there is Parma goalkeeper Frey who won't joined my team. I have tried to purchase him twice times in two seasons! Then I gave up and buy Portugal keeper Ricardo.

LOL...Haven't got enough money for the big names yet...just looking to make do with the 3* ease of transfer players. I guess it has something to do with where the player's team is, how it is doing in their OWN league, and how YOU are doing in yours...some calculation comes up with the stars...to let you know how willing they are to come...no stars is impossible I guess.

when u try to sign a player, press the right button and see how many stars they have, e.g. 3 stars are the most easiest to get. When a player got no stars, it will be close to impossible to get them no matter how much $$ u offered. BTW I am playing ML with a team i created, and i used 3 players to swap for Solskjaer (dunno i spelled correctly or not) my strategics are buying young players adn train them up

Guess it depends on the player and team. I.e. when I played for Milan, I had Shevchenko and Tomasson w/o any problems. But when I started new season with Leeds, none of them agreed to join my Yorkshire crowd... Same for Kewell & Smith: when I earned enough money, they joined Leeds but never accepted Milan.

Tip: Never try to buy more than one player in one week! I found that if you're trying to buy 2/3/4 or more players at a time, they all refuse, no matter how much money you offer.

Sangol. That bastard, i have been chasing him for 3 seasons. And still he wont come, i even offered to swap Ronaldo and a bit of dosh for him. But still nothing.

I have tried to buy Okotcha at every oppertunity for the past two seasons and still he will not come. He is not even with another club, just the Nigerian national side! Had to put the transfer difficulty down to 1* just to get him.
