Hi everyone.

SOme player stats i think don't match their real world player real capabilities. Who do you think is overrated or underrated in this PES? In which area in particular? (Maybe what cards?)

I personally think buffon is made stronger than he is now just to give an example. Who else agrees? (I am biggest buffon fan though and he is my all time favorite football player)

i think most definitely buffon and cesar are overrated, most of the inter team seems to be overrated as well. There's quite a few of overrated players, particularly those older players that used to be very good, as konami doesn't seem to lower their stats after they're past their prime, like totti,lucio,giggs, seedorf.

Ok, it's been said already, old players are overrated. I just think the speed merchant card is a big mistake; i'd like that removed and player stats/actual in game performance would be more real.

90% of players are completely wrong.

Im just gonna put 1 example, now Messi is underrated in some stats and overrated in others, overall he is way unrealistic. 97 shot accuracy? U have to be shiting me..

It's not only because of his balance, it's because of his quick feet to get out of tight situations but when you compare it to and say it's the same as heskey's which is also the same, that's just ridiculous.
Also david villa need better dribbling speed as he is a great dribbler with speed. It should be 87, not 82!

Villa allready is rated very high imo, changing the dribbling speed to 87 is absolutely not desired.

The speed Merchant card is great, one of the things Konami improved this year.

About the older players, I agree some of them are rated quite high. But what can Konami do. A player like Seedorf or Lucio does not really get's worse. Their passing/shooting/dribbling skills don't get worse cause they age. All that happens is their responsiveness drops and they'll get slower in general. Also they get injuries more often. But they can't make Seedorf's stats much different than last year, can they?

I'm not talking about Overall rating, i'm saying that 87 dribble speed is more realistic as he is fast and deadly on the ball. Anyway he is rated 82 and i thinl that is unfair as he one of the best finishers in the world currently. Time and time again he is running past opposition defences because of his great speed and agility.

Also c.ronaldo's dribble acc. needs to improve as I don't think it should have gone from 97 to 89, more like 91.
Also he has tremendous technique and once trapped the ball between his legs froma long pass and his technique was demonstrated in Portugal's match today as he controlled every ball passed to him properly. BUt his 94 shooting acc. needs to go down and so does his fk acc. as he isn't complacent enough and so is his long-passes

Javier Hernandez way under rated 74 overall after the 2nd patch while oxelaide chamberlain is 71 without having played in many top flight games!!

True, it's just that Ronaldo is not a very skilled dribbler. He is a very good player who CAN perform great dribbles, but they are not as accurate as by instance Messi, Silva, Aguero and many more. So I think his dribbling potential (skills, speed) is great, but his accuracy is not that perfect (as seen in the vid). But let's face it. The fact whe allready disagree over 1 stat from Ronaldo, shows how unbelievably difficult (not to say impossible) it is for Konami to get all stats accurate.

Then how come in 2011 his dribbling accuracy was 97? If you've watched his freestyle vids, you'll know why. CR7 has to dribble at speed with the ball glued to his feet whilst silva dribbles closely when he is slowly accelerating. If you've watched cr7 dribbling, you'll understand why his dribbling, closee control and technique is pure amazing.

I don't really think defoe should have 79 balance as he loses the ball easily because of his small stature.
Also his Heading shouldn't be 79 as he can only score easy open headers and they don't have much power in them.
I also think that the C.Ronaldo's stats on pesstatsdatabase are much more realistic than the current ones

I agree he has amazing dribbling skills, and that his dribble speed is great. I just don't think his dribbling is as accurate as Silva's/Messi's, etc. That's all. :happy: I don't know why it was 97 in 2011, but I guess Konami watched and learned, making his dribbling stats more accurate this year.
