For value and stamina you can't go wrong with Ji Sung Park. Every master league over the last 3 PES's I have had Park. He is very cheap and very versatile and he has great stamina. He assists and scores and then if you're that way inclined you can sell him off for a decent sum later on.

I can never bring myself to sell him and I build a team around him. The amount of times he has bailed out the Defaulters is insane. My PES Hero is Ji Sung Park :thewave:

im doin a league with villareal, senna (although very underrated) is sick, same goes for cazorla, nihat and guissepe rossi....the luis garcia from espanyol is bomb too (not the former liverpool player although he is good just not who im referring to)

for some reason Robinho just gets the one goal after the other in PES09 for me, last year he was useless and I quickly through him out of my squad, but this year he just can't stop scoring!

Apart from the obvious powerhouses in PES that need not be named, I rather like playing with Luca Toni for Italy.

With the ball at his feet, he aint so manouverable but in the air he wins practically everything within a 2m radius of him providing you are good at manouvering with the RT/R2 button. For someone who loves to play loads and loads of crosses into the box, having a player like Toni is very important

Yep sounds like a fair nickname. I think he played every game for me for 3 full seasons apart from one in which he was suspended.

Also Torres after a season in in my master leauge he is unstoppable, last season he was top scorer in leauge and cup top assist in cup and best player in cup and the same in leauge apart from gerrard had the assist award. he is great

Anyone with a long throw, I am getting slowly better and better at Stoking it. I signed Delap and Steve Watson (who is one of 93 characters from old PESs I've recreated for PES2009) as well as already having Kazim for my Master League side.

Mat the Cat i was first made aware of the existence of this function by you in this forum. Ever since that i keep trying to perform or do it and it never works for me. When i have a player selected, and the ball is flying in towards him say from a goal kick, i never manage to maneuver him around the opponents player standing in front of him, i never manage to move him at all actually. My player just stands there stuck to the back of the opponents player, waiting for the ball to get there, then he ends up losing the aerial battle most of the time because he is in a terrible position. can you help?
