Hi everyone,

Sorry if there is already a thread on this as im new!

How do you upload a fan chant to the ps3 and then onto pro, if someone could tell me how to do it and make it simple that would be brilliant!

Also where is everyone getting their chants from as an mp3 format?

Thanks! :D

Theres a few threads mate

basically go youtube or summat and get a recording of a chant.

use audacity or something to get it into mp3.

Save it on your USB stick then stick it in the PS3

Copy it onto your hard drive by going to the memory stick under music and hitting triangle, display all, triangle on the file, copy (I think)

Add the file now on the hard disk (outside the mem stick) into a playlist called KONAMI_PES

^When you type KONAMI_PES dont hit start after you hit the last letter, hit L1 a few times (or it puts an extra space and doesnt recognize it) and THEN hit start

go into the game

gallery - playlist editor - mp3 library ..

should be there

good luck

no probs man

I havent tried merging yet, but I THINK, you'd have to make each one quite short, because I think it cuts out after a certain amount of time.

Not sure though, Im sure some bright bulb here knows

Finally! after pissing around all day trying to get my crowd chants to play for more than a few seconds ive worked it out and here is a guide for all you loveley fellow players.

Right, before all this I found a pack of England League chants (mp3's) for all teams on this forum which a member put together (cant remember the name but thanx its awesome!) but when I imported them, they were just playing the first 2 or 3 seconds. Ive come to a conclusion that its the way they are encoded and the PS3 or Pro Evo doesnt like it so heres what I did:

Step 1: Burn your selected chants (mp3's) as an AUDIO CD not an mp3 cd (I used NERO).

Step2: Insert your audio CD into the PS3 and select "import" so it copies them to you PS3's HDD (this is the bit im thinking solves it as the PS3 encodes the files to a more playable way).

Step 3: Add your new copied/ripped chants into the "KONAMI_PES" playlist

Step 4: On pro evo in edit, go to team edit then "cheering stance" for your selected team then choose "MP3 library" and select the file/chant you want (note that the file name will now only be something like "AUDIO 1,2,3" etc as you ripped it from CD but you can change the name in the PS3 music section)

Now the chant plays all the way through and doesnt cut off at all! You can test it obviously by preesin SQUARE to prove it!

Hope this helps guys! Let me know if it does as ive spent ages!

Cheers mate will try that.

Only problem is, even if it did carry on and on, it would cut out for goals, meaning it would start over when play restarts.. but its good enough. Would be great though if you could select like 20 chants and put it on random

I uploaded the chants in the same way and although it plays through the whole MP3 on the selection screen, when a game starts it only plays about 45/1min of the MP3 and then starts again?!

Is there anyway to get it to play all the way through during a game?

Thanks guys
Dan

Do you combine all your MP3 chants onto 1 MP3 before copying onto an audio CD ? Or did you just burn 5 MP3's onto the audio CD ?

When I tried burning as an audio cd with nero it was coming up with "The audio plug in directory could not be found" ? What is this - my windows media player it's looking for ?

Please HELP
