In the ps3 version u can actually assign the port u want to use in the system settings area :O

so try choosing ur own port and opening that up in ur router.

hhh im sorry but i have no idea how to do wt u just said .. im really not that gr8 in pcs :blush: so .. guide me to it i guess .. plz ?

ok remember the site i gave u about port fowarding? what u do is find ur router and click on the following items: PSN, playstation network.

follow the steps there and add all the necessary ports.

Now that should set up ur system nicely for downloading stuff from the psn and help out with some games too.

now for the PES2009 part.

Go to system settings. now u'll see stuff like controller settings...all the way down to the 3rd last item, u'll see PORT SETTINGS.

U can either do Auto select or choose a specific port. C
hoosing a specific port is better i reckon.

Just follow the steps as u did with the portfowarding website but substitute the port number u have chosen urself for pes2009.

OK .. theres two things .. 1 ) in the portforwarding site .. what should i type in "internal host IP address " cuz it doesnt say so i figure its 10.0.0.138 ? ..
2) system setting on ps3 i dont c controller settings :S theres no such thing.. i tried to look fot the PORT SETTINGs i couldnt find it ..

oh ok i get it .. u mean on the PES .. ok , so i went to PORT SETTING .. and the port was set on 3658 .. one of the ports i set on the port forwarding ..

hmm did u set up ur ps3 with a static ip address? port fowarding is usually the problem. maybe someone else is draining ur network? u downloading?

maybe u need to update ur router's firmware? i remember that initially some routers weren't ps3 friendly till they patched it.

how do i set up my ps3 with a static ip ?

but i have DSL :S .. and i dont have problems in other games , i play Metal Gear 4 online .. PES2008 .. and many more.. i dont have problems there :s

hmm here's somethin. cos in PES2008 they forced u to install the game. how bout u install pes2009 under system settings? try that.
