This is a follow on from the petition I did...

Vote here to say whether you would like to have at least some form of online head to head in PES3 (or PES4 at the absolute latest or you'll lick the devil and indulge in FIFA online depravity).

It's not going to happen in PES3 so there's not much point saying anything about it.
It had better be in PES4 or heads will roll.
I bet WE8 will be the first online version.

I wouldn't play FIFA online to save my life! I have a deep hatred for the FIFA franchise and just typing the four letters is not easy for these PES hands!

FIFA just annoys me, don't ask me why.

I agree with Zygalski that PES4 MUST have online play, otherwise FIFA and TIF will start to attract even more deluded wanke.....sorry...players.

Imagine if we PESInsighters could play matches against each other! Brilliant!!

They would need to sort out some things first, which is maybe why they haven't rushed it out for WE7/PES3 which is sensible.

Things like what if your opponent is using an option file with boosted stats? Would you be able to tell and how to prevent cheating.

Does anyone think it is possible they will sort out the 11 V 11 player matches online thing for WE8?

We are set to begin Mumpleaser's idea of an offline league very soon. With online PES4, we could be looking back on ideas like this with a grin!

And I would never touch fifa either.

online play would be good but it surely wouldn't top thrashing your best mate who says he's the best at pes2 5-0.

With online, you could first beat your mate in your house, then someone from another town and then anyone you feel like playing from anywhere in the world.

You could play in tournaments from your own house.
No expenses or time wasted for travelling makes it good.

Zygalski, are you going to organise the tournament? It's just that I was wondering if I could possibly be kept in mind when people start picking teams. This isn't a request, but I'd like to be Man U when it starts...nudge..nudge..wink..wink

I don't think the tournament would work out the way you originally proposed so it may have to be done as an offline league.
Check the thread to see what I mean. If you disagree, we can try both ideas out seperately.
