Position/rating question

Yea the whole rating system is so wack. I don't get how playing someone out of position suddenly means they forgot how to dribble. Imo only some stats should be affected like attack, defense, response, and teamwork but previous system was better. It's a gamble when finding a position for someone, you just never know the outcome. It's fun and sometimes they actually play really good in that position just like irl. With the new noobified system, you immediately know that they're gonna suck. Where is the fun in that?

If Konami still sticks with this system they really need to sort it out next year. The best players should have the best ratings, end of. It doesn't make any sense for the best player in the game (Messi) to have 85 and a lot of players in his position that aren't as good have higher ratings. Better yet just ditch this noob system and bring back the good old hex, problem solved.

i agree that this rating system has some serious flaws. But it does have some benefits. I am thinking that Konami had the intention of making this feature a more realistic component of the game. As most new things are, it has problems. I think that in the future things will be tweaked by Konami (i.e. only some stats are effected like teamwork etc.) to make it efficient. As of now I would personally love to go back to the hexagonal rating system but I think the rating may make ground in the future. Even still, they should have ratings AND the hexagonal system. That would be ideal.

The system that gives players handicaps was implemented to avoid people playing all the fastest players as strikers in online games, pressuring people to use them in their native positions in other words.

Nevertheless, it's a stupid idea.

If that what Konami wanted, then they really fucked up.

And I just noticed Zebina is better as a CB then a SB. Seriously Konami, What the fuck?

just change their positions and/or registered positions in the editor, as konami tends to have no idea about where some people play/can play.

The rating system kinda sucks but it also makes u play like the team does in RL. If u want to beat that obligation, just start a ML game and make ur formation in a way that u only have CM's and SS's in the middle. Makes it easyer to buy players :).
