Are there any patches available, or likely to become available in the near future? One with the proper strips for example? ive tried importing them into the game myself but with no luck. :)

well mate, just wait till you get loads of people chastising you for asking for this when the game isnt out yet. there have been quite a few posts like yours. generally i think the answer is that wait about a week after launch, then youll have a patch.

I realise this might be a bit dodgy but.....

having read the thread to get PE3 and WE8 from DVD to fit on a CD I was wondering if there is anything similar for PE4 kicking around?

I currently have PE4 on *.bin format sat on my PC and would like to be able to burn it onto CD to tide me over till "official" realise date.

Anybody able to help at all?

Use Nero or Alcohol120% or a whole bunch of programs to burn your image using the Burn Image mode of the software. Done.

Thanks so much for replying....

Yeah I can do that bit. By placing the *.cue / *.bin in Alchohol's virtual drive and ending up with an *.iso image file.

However it comes to about 740 mb - and of course the max capacity of a CD is 650/700 mb.

So I'm guessing if you can take WE8 of a DVD and put it on a CD you should be able to do the same with PE4?

Does that make sense.

Dont worry, it will still burn!

Right hang on I'm not with you here I think (apologise for my ignorance).

What I'm getting at is reading (WE8 DVD to CD) - I thought in order to get the *.iso to fit onto a CD I would have to apply somekind of patch in order to get the filesize down.

Again apologise for my ignorance but surely the *.bin file that's over 700mb won't fit on a CD? (ie it'll be to big to fit on a CD)

You can fit an image of up to around 850MB onto a 700MB CDR.
Just do it.

Ah right thanks a lot.

Quick last question do I have to have a certain type of burner? burn it in a certain way? Is there a guide on this anywhere?

I've read the guides on here and they don't seem to suggest I need a certain type but a few years ago when I did this kind of thing for WE6 It failed on the fact my burner couldn't burn certain parts onto CD (sorry for bieng non-specific) and I was wondering if there was a guide anywhere.

There might be but it will probably be as crap as the last one. They will do a rubbish job of it again so don't get it. Get an x-port or a max drive instead.

Does anyone know if the WE8 patches can be used on PES4? I was also wondering if you can use the patches and kits for the pc version of PES3 on the ps2 version. I have found lots of great kits and patches on http://www.pespc-files.com but I dont know if I can use them. Does anyone know any sites for getting PS2 patches and kits for pes3 and will possibly be making Pes4 patches soon?

PS. I've tried searching the forums for these questions but can't find them. Sorry if you think i'm asking a pointless question that has been asked before.

All patches only work for the game that they were made for.
PES3 patches will only work with PES3 and new patches will soon be made for PES4.

Just use the software I've mentioned annd select the Burn Image options and select your cue file and then burn at the slowest speed. That's it.
