Damn straight. You can tell when the CPU's decided you're doing too well and it wants to score. It's just a little effect here and there. Your DMF will back off a couple of feet for no reason, your second defender (The one you operate with square) will run around the attacker and file in behind him then start giving chase.

It's not on but I suspect you are right about it being the only way they can score sometimes.

Well that's the only way they can score against me mate. Thats why im starting to hate all this. If this doesnt change then ill stop botherting myself and playing PES anymore. It just kills you watching ur defense running away from the ball when its obvious the balls close to him, and how sometimes CPU players run around freely and have perfect foot-to-foot passes no matter the number of defenses you have at the back, CPU can scre that easy whenever it wants. Thats pure cheating and kills the whole realism game. The worst i saw was when CPU's CF ran straight through my defence and my defense just opened up like moses opened up the sea! Fucking disgrace. :realmad:

Don't forget instances where even players like Zidane will - instead of trap the ball when receiving a pass - let it bounce off his shin and travel for 15yds until it goes just out of touch. Possession lost.

I think we should have more information on the player's injury, not just the "1 week, 3 weeks" stuff. More detail would be much better. Oh and his fitness should go down too, which inturn would make us put him in training sessions to get back in form. And fix the way the players ge injured, its annoying when all you do is push the idiot and he gets a foot injury? thats stupid.

It really bugged the hell out of me. I seem to have been able to counter this cheating for quite some time.. the main way I give away goals now is when they take screamers from 30 yards... (they even do this with crap players... How???)

i had the ball once with cisse in the centre circle and he shoot (automatically) and it flew into the crowd near the corner flag. The ball went so fast you couldnt see it on the replay. fucking glitches.

I'm also sat in an office supposedly trying to work out why a train isn't using a certain section of track in Hereford. Hey, it looks like I'm working. I guess I should get on with it.

As for the points, anyone who wants them can have them if they like, I shan't be purchasing anything. Like Tyson's early days with his black trainers and low socks, I prefer to keep things basic.

i think they should also play advantage on offsides. 4 instance wen u play a ball through and ur offside but it runs through 4 the keeper or goes 2 a def should just play on instead of constant stoppages

i agree and aswell when you are through on goal and a defender nudges you in back and the ref gives a foul he never books the defender. shit. Also when you are through on goal and defender nudges you but you keep going the ref always pulls it back!

Good point, the passive/active offside rule should also be implemented, as should the recent 'air' amendment. As in you should be able to see a gap between the attacker and opponent when viewed side on in order for it to be called offside.

i think its pretty good though if u get the odd decision thats wrong. it adds realism, in real fottie, refs dont get everything right as we all well know

It's because it's tactical. Other games, when they want to beat you, generally just go faster and faster or require more and more precision, until it overwhelms you.

The human brain is millions of times more complex than any computer and by it's very biological nature, will eventually - and more often than not subconsciously - work out more and more of the finite combinations of things the AI is taught to do.

Eventually, because it is purely tactics, you will learn them all and never lose. The CPU simply HAS to cheat and slow you down/make you miss in order to make the game more interesting. I think it does a fine job of it on the whole. You have to play it for ages before you start to notice this flaw.

This is what makes 2 player gaming the fun that it is. Being an 'old' fecker though, when my mates come round it's normally to go drinking then come back sh1tfaced at midnight and fire up the old Time Crisis 3.

I've just re-read this post and realise it could be seen as patronising, turning into irrelevant, and ending up completely impertinent to the thread. Apologies for any inconvenience.
