Hello guys, this is my first post so please bare with me.

I USED to be a FIFA fan over PES all day long but due to the recent FIFA game, that is about to change quicker than you can say bobs your uncle.

Reason? I feel robbed, EA are nothing but thieves. FIFA11 might as well be called FIFA10.1 it is that bad. Everything they said had been included either doesn't work or isn't actually included.

I downloaded the PES demo the other day, something I haven't done since PES 7 and I have to admit, I was blown away. As a hardcore football game fan, the graphics, game play was far superior to anything them thieves at EA can come up with.

The reason for this thread is like I explained, I used to buy FIFA over PES all the time but come this Friday (release date of PES here in the UK) I shall be taking FIFA back and getting PES instead. I do not know too much about the features, game modes, editing modes in this years PES so if you guys could take the time to give me some information i'd be greatfull.

Well let me be the first to say welcome to the Darkside :p

Anyways PES is truelly a Beautiful game Granted it doesnt have all the official licenceses But the amount of things you can do Via EDIT and Option files Makes the game a million times better. And while this years PES doesnt have the same wow facter as pes 5/6 IMO this years itteration is easily the 3rd best pes. It's team managent is great as is the gameplay. My only complaints about this years PES is it's once again lifeless Commentary especially from Jim Beglin (as if you listen to him on ITV he talks a hell of a lot during games but on PES he hardly says anything and mostly just repeats himself) Also the fans haven't been improved AGAIN for ages now as there,s no scarfs/banners or even Flare's during Italian matches grr.

But anyways im sure you,ll enjoy PES 2011

ok mate thanks, I have been looking through the forum and seen some intersting posts "create a stadium" I guess is what is says really lol, REAL kits. does this mean you can download/edit English Premier League kits and badges to the real thing or?

yes you can Download and install all REAL kits/Emblems logo's and even real life team chants. you can even Download new boots/balls/ad boards/score bars and on screen logo's like ESPN/ITV/sky sports etc.can also change the menu layout etc.

yup, with ps3 it is easier than the 360 tho. You just download the option file, put it on a usb key/ portable hdd and transfer the content to the ps3. It take 15minutes MAX. Then you got all the licenced leagues. Im not sure of the process on the 360 tho.

There is set to be a good choice of ones available for release date this year too :)

There is a Thread here that will have all the latest patch files plus they will come with installation instructions and the PS3 is real easy to patch.

on question about the fans chants etc

on fifa when you add them, they slow the game right down and cause the game to freeze, i hope this isn't the case for PES?

There is usually a mod that comes out for the crowd sound don't think there is anything they can do about how they look, as for commentary, even though Fifa's is better I get sick of Andy Grey talking bollocks anyway, so it gets old quick.

Actually when you come out of the Tunnel the Crowd are holding Scarfs/Banners and theres also paper being chucked up into the air. and then it all disappears.

Also it would be great if KONAMI did what fifa did for 09 which was release a seperate DLC commentary pack which had Any Townsend and someone else I cant remember.
