if they start selling updates them that is a major con!a major con and i will be furious,as even ea dont do this with transfers,they are free!wen i put ea's madden in if there has been any movement in the "rosters"then it automatically updates for free,this is wot pes shud do but for sum reason i doubt it!

All this PS2 is better than 360 is doing my head in, why don't you all get back in your prams. You have a choice, you make your choice it is a personal thing. I like the slower play it's more realistic and makes you work for the goals. It's like the Fifa vs PES arguement, they are both great games but it's down to personal preferences
The game is superb on both consoles, everybody is moaning about the editing but surely the gameplay is what matters and no one can complain about pro evo on that score.
Calm down everyone and enjoy.

it looks like the game is a mixed bag after all. Nonetheless, being a long time pes fan, just wondering if it has PAL/NTSC selection like it did on the ps2? wanna play it so bad...

I no what everyone is saying and i totally agree.
I have shown my dissaproval (see some of my posts)of konami,
and there bid to fob us of with a second rate unfinished game,
now fifa always get slated when they do this sort of thing.
BUT My main point is we are all having a moan about pes6, But i think there would be a lot more people moaning if they didnt have a release for us until next year. ok so this release will be limited but its better than no release at all. Although I will be buying fifa07 this year, like so many others. so i think konami could loose a lot of fans to fifa

I have played the xbox 360 fifa & i think it is crap ok graghs are ok but the game play is crap the ps2 version is better i have all 4 games pes6 ps2 fifa07 ps2 pes6 xbox 360 fifa07 xbox 360 the best one for all round is ps2 pes6 then xbox 360 pes6 then fifa07 ps2 but thats only my opion everyone has one use thanks

If you haven't noticed, this place is a forum and people are entitled to say what they feel. I don't think the whole 'only gameplay matters' argument works here: the fact is Konami didn't bother to release a full game. With no replay save, no edit mode and graphics that can't really compare to FIFA on the 360, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering what they did with their 1.5 years time with the 360 development kits?

By the way, I don't agree with the Marketplace conspiracy: surely selling an update with proper kits would be in breach of copyright somehow? It's been done before on eBay, but it would be on a much bigger scale if Microsoft did it, and would therefore most likely result in a lawsuit eventually.

Pro Evo 6 Xbox360 Lag Issue Fixed !

HI all,

just to let u all know...if you feel and have experienced the is lagging or speed of the game is a little too slow, its becuase the xbox360 console is set on WIDESCREEN. Alter this setting back to NORMAL screen and the lag issue is fixed.

the speed of the game then picks up from winning eleven 10, BUT is a fraction slower, and i believe is complete right pace of the game. also skillful players turn faster and better (quick moves)

also if u didnt know all ready manual switching of players is there in SETTINGS and then CURSORS. check it out.

i have got a widescreen tv, doesnt matter or make any real difference, change back to NORMAL and u should see the difference in the speed of the gameplay similiar to winning eleven 10 but a fraction slower...and in my opinion the right pace of the game.

the graphics dont change, just players look a little bit smaller. they looked too tall on WIDESCREEN.

This game is great, forget the lack of features. there is no slowdown if you play it on an HDTV widescreen at 60hz 720p, people that play xbox360s on standard tvs arent getting the benefit of the true graphics and speed.

Before i got my HDTV I never realised how crap the games played on a standard tv, just play fight night 3 on a standard TV and then on a HDTV, slow, sluggish and fuzzy graphics...its the same for pes6.
