Thank you very much.

Having seen it, I am a bit disappointed. There is nothing next-gen about it. The graphics are pretty much the same, gameplay looks like it's still on the PS2....

Okay, well, I'll keep in mind two factors. This is ment to be the next generation (and the graphics are likely to be around this level for the next 4 or 5 installments of the series) and also that the camera work is pretty poor.

My immediate conclusion is that while the pitch and the stadium is very nice and what i'd expect the 360 to display. The players are pretty poor and the animations have in no way been adapted from WE10.

My major concern however - there is a MAJOR scale issue! The players are soo tiny and get consumed by the vastness of the pitch but to an even greater extent THE BALL IS SO FUCKING SMALL. Its about the same size as the goal keepers hand.

Realism is all in the detail, and Konami is letting itself down with some stupid mistakes.

well am i the only one who is happy with this. what you have to think is that this is not their finished game. i think its good ! and the players move more lifelike in my opinion

id rather have a ps3 pro evo than ps2 port so i'll glady wait for it on ps3.

looks like you will be waiting for a while then as its exclusive to 360 on next gen for a year. Thats a big deal for MS in europe.

Im actually very happy with the way it looks, get it in HD and it will look very nice :)

Looks great and they still have time to fix any issues etc.

PS3 will have to wait a whole 12 months for a next-gen version of both PES6 and FIFA 07.

The Xbox 360 is home of football.......For a year lol.

So far it looks good to me, I doubt this is anywhere ready to be released.

But the audience has gotten a good facelift and are now not the cardboard cutouts with 4 animation frames they used to be. The lighting system is completely new and as you can see from the goalposts they are shadowed on one side due to the sun shining.

But animations still seem the same as always, and there has probably been little work done to the engine. There is still no sign of the fluid movements needed to imitate real-life soccer. Also it still seems like there is digital control over player movements, which I hope to god I am wrong about, or they implement later. Also, there seems to be way too much contrast on the graphics with there being a little too much shadows on stuff considering global illumination and such, but since it is recorded with a cam off a TV there are a couple of factors for this.

Anyways, will be nice to see more, but I doubt the 360 version will blow everyone away, most likely they will need to ill PES7 to get to terms with the next-gen stuff and also overhaul the engine. But atleast I am glad things are finally progressing... :)

It's not mind-blowing but what else can you expect? Konami always have a very understated approach to their graphics engine preferring to keeps things realistic rather then OTT next-gen. The players look a ton better then FIFA's. No light-emitting shiny plastic players to be seen.

Now I've seen it, I can get on with my life.

Looks damn good, especially when you get really close up to the players.

The fact is, the ingame camera is on 'far'. I assume that if you play it in any other angle, closer up to the players, then you will see quite a bit more detail.

Gameplay looks identical.

O, now i know why seabass didn't want to release a PS3 version, not to make people think that is all the system can do, in other words to do the PS3 a favour. I think i'll stick with my PS2 version, after all, how am i able to do my 8 player fix master league with only 4 pads? ha, xbox version always sucks. What do you think the 'P' in PES stands for??? PLAYSTATION. I don't know how some of you traitors could move to the xbox version when its been on PS for years, you're either traitors or noobs, u obviously haven't been playing ISS/WE/PES for long. O sorry, PES was the only 1 on xbox and started at PES4? Anyway thats me done, PES is moulded around the PS pad, remember that. I wonder what would happen in an online battle, PS vs xbox?

chrisius, you are a damn fanboy...enough said. There is no matter which console is more powerfull or which sells the most,in the end we all win from this war,the gaming is all about and people forget that.A game on 360 is no different than a game on PS3,so PES7 will be indentical on both consoles.
I am downloading now...patience is everything...
