O, now i know why seabass didn't want to release a PS3 version, not to make people think that is all the system can do, in other words to do the PS3 a favour. I think i'll stick with my PS2 version, after all, how am i able to do my 8 player fix master league with only 4 pads? ha, xbox version always sucks. What do you think the 'P' in PES stands for??? PLAYSTATION. I don't know how some of you traitors could move to the xbox version when its been on PS for years, you're either traitors or noobs, u obviously haven't been playing ISS/WE/PES for long. O sorry, PES was the only 1 on xbox and started at PES4? Anyway thats me done, PES is moulded around the PS pad, remember that. I wonder what would happen in an online battle, PS vs xbox?

Why not ask Sony why they delay their console launch and plan to price their console so high up.. maybe u are willing to fork out that kind of money.. but not everyone do and have the patience to wait for so long.. so what if people are switching to the xbox? do u stand to gain anything if they do or don't? come on.. choices are for people to make.. they don't need people to tell them what to buy or not.. pes also attracted many new gamers along the way.. so not all played it on the playstation.. so are gamers who started the long ago ISS series on Nintendo gonna stick to Nintendo and wait as well? if u r one, r u going to do it as well?

Moreover, i tink it's a wise choice to release the next gen pes so they can get to improve on the series on ps3 and xbox360 in future..

I dont know why everyone is on about 'true next gen on ps3 next year', because it will still be nearly identical to the 360 version no matter what, like pes5 on the ps2 and the xbox look almost the same. Its down to konami why it doesnt look completely different not the 360. Besides they probably put off using the ps3 til next year because its so hard to program for.

From my point of view, i think it looks great, i'd much rather be playing that for the next year than something that looks the same as ive been playing for the past 3 years already on the ps2.

its always the same with any game on a new console,it will take them 3years 2get it right.look at pes1 remember how great that looked compared with the ps1 version? play it now its rubbish!! the new pes will be the same theyll leave out most of the good stuff from pes5 and every year theyll add on little bits here and there, thats basically how the game industry works always leaving you wanting more,il stick with pes6 on ps2 that will be the pinnacle of pes 4the next 3years

It seems like the old herky jerky gameplay engine that I'm fighting with right now... hurray. What happened to 360 degrees of movement? It doesnt seem remotely worth going out and buying a 360 for.

My major concern however - there is a MAJOR scale issue! The players are soo tiny and get consumed by the vastness of the pitch but to an even greater extent THE BALL IS SO FUCKING SMALL. Its about the same size as the goal keepers hand.

Realism is all in the detail, and Konami is letting itself down with some stupid mistakes.

I think you are mistaken there my friend, finally they have the scale of the pitch spot on, you are making a mistake if you think the scale was correct on the previous versions of pro evolution soccer, the pitch has always been smaller than real life. If you think im wrong, watch a FC Barcelona game when they are playing on Camp Nou and you'lle see what im talking about, the camera there is very far from the pitch which lets you see the scale that a real pitch should have.

I'll reserve judgement until i see more/better quality vids.

I've never been impressed with the game vids we see at this early stage. They never do the game justice. It always looks and plays alot better when you see it in the flesh. All i can say is i'm neither disappointed, nor blown away.

the players camera has probably been pulled back because of HD, you probably can't see the detail in the video cause its not very good quality, but i bet that it looks pretty nice on that hd.

they will differ because u cant plau pro evo with a xbox controller, nuff said.

Why not? You will grow into it over time. I've played both PS2 and Xbox versions of WE. Nothing wrong with the controllers. It's your skills that's important and how you apply it on the different controllers.

i love the way that the sado's stick with playstation like its their best mate and like it has feelings. i find it well funny. Also if u look at the pik earlier posted and you look at the butons its identical to playstation anyway and i feel that the controller fits into ur hand better!

i just cant wait to play pes6 demo on marketplace saturday !!!

The players look better but I am disapointed at the stadiums they look the same there seems to be no graphical improvement but as always I should wait until there is better quality video

Wow, we got the ignorant sony fanboys in tonight. Isn't it bedtime yet?

I've been playing PES since day 1 and it was the reason why i bought a PS2. I am however getting a 360 and will continue my loyalty to the game there. I am not a traitor or a noob. It is only a console - if the game came out on PS3, it would've been identical and I would've still got a 360.

I'm also quite an adaptable chap and will no doubt kick ass using the 360 pad. I don't give two shits about the d-pad. It's all about the analogue stick anyway.

I don't knwo why everyone is so sceptical about this.

This certainly is up my expectations and goes even beyond. Player models look like in CG videos of previous PES games. The pitch scale is fine, the ball scale is fine too. I think "Kewell" got it wrong as the camera used to capture the video has some brightness issues and it certainly makes white objects smaller then they are. If you look at the screenshots, the ball is just fine...

Adriano looks absolutely amazing... so does Deco... Haven't seen many close ups though in that video...

Has anyone noticed the sweat from Adriano??? Amazing!!!

I don't know what everyone is all about "next-gen"... This is it fellas. Sure it will look even better next year, but right now this is awesome...

As with PES1, nothing radically different from ISS2, there was better graphics, animation, ball physics, AI... It looks like this is the case with PES 6.

Even if the gameplay is identical to PES6, with improved visuals, I'd be happy as a puppy. I'm tired of seeing past 3 versions of the game which look almost identical with slight improvements in gameplay and physics.
I'm especially looking forward to seeing it in 16:9 (FINALLY)!!!
