Problems with passing

Anyone else having problems with passing? Hitting passes that are really slow and passes going to the wrong player?
I've tried with pass support off, pass support at 1 and pass support up full. But it goes to the wrong player far more often than in PES 2011.
As for the slow passes, think I can sort that with practice, but really annoying when you hit a first time pass that would have worked in every PES/ISS game of all time, and now it trickles away from the player!

I have. I've tried from 0 support to full support, the change is miniscule until your reach full support, where the AI pretty much decides where every pass is going.

yes i agree through balls are pointless the shooting its crap too i am really struggling to get into this game having loved demo 2

even thr through balls they are terrible i stopped using the triangle button its that bad lol

I actually think through pass are more realistic because of the improved off the ball movement. The timing of spotting a run into open space is now a much more important factor in its success or failure.

Also, I think the new marking system means that at times you have to force the opposing team to break their tightly formation before you can slide in that killer ball.

The passin on this years pes is nothing short of woeful and im no beginner , I have played it for years , its goes in the wrong direction all the time , goes to a player who runs round in a circle and it goes straight by them , the passing is shit worse in a long time through balls are bollocks to , they go to whoever it decides it going to doesnt matter were yr placing it , its a joke sometime

Im the same mate , the passing is shocking , my passing in all the other pro evos has been spot on , I can lay passes on but wen yr pulling forward and it goes in the wrong direction is unbeleivable and it happens far too often am sick of it too , but its the same every year on pro evo until about november when the bring out a patch and sort it all out , garuntee you come the end of november it will be fine , if its not al be playin fifa from now on even tho its shit

I make a lot of bad passes myself. But I know it is my poor L stick control than any flaw in the game. Even when I think I am making a good pass that L stick is not pointing exactly where it needs to and the ball goes where I am pointing it just fine. I turn the ball over a lot

mate its the game , you cant be pressin in one direction and it goes the opposite way , its a joke it never done it in last years the games a shambles

i agree the passing is very bad this year especially playing 1 twos or through balls, i think its cos they have brought the new concept in were we now controll a player off the ball with the right stick to make him do a run, wen we activate his run we then only have to hit the pass button and the pass will go auto pilot straight to him, however with the speed of the game online is like the players r on an ice rink and u hardly have time to do a quick pass let alone flick the right stick to control another player then watch his run and pass!!!! cos the game is so compact aswell now its almost impossible to make use of this new feature, but cos they have forced it on us its no longer possible to play 1 twos or split a defence with a through ball anymore
