One of the achievements for this game is to get promoted to a top league. How do you do this? I can't seem to start in a league that isn't a top one?

Seems like you didn't even try it yet ;) You choose which league you want to play in (by selecting your team), but you allways start in the D2 league first. At the end of the season, the first 3 teams get promoted the top league.

Then you must choose a team from division two :)
Cant you choose if you start in division 2 or 1?
If you cant and still want to play with city you can edit the league and put city in division2

It should be sufficient to play with the default ML squad.

Or maybe you could finish last (or in the last 3), get degraded to D2 and finish that next season 1st to get promoted.

Thanks for that, you just have to pick a team from division 2, what confused me was it still said if i wanted to play in the premier league but it has put me into division 2. I have just copied Man City into there.
