morning all,

first time thread user so play nice!
on 28/2 i was on 502pts in d3 inline for d2. to my surprise on the tuesday i was still in d3?!!!

now last night a friend ''pokerface2000'' was on 504 and logged on today to till be in d3!! how the hell do we get to d2!!

we both checked the breakpoint around midday on the Monday.

help!!!

Promotion/relegation break point changes all the time, usually it increases at monday night because everyone is desperately trying to secure the spot.

What do you mean by "issue"? Its totally logical, the promotion doesnt depend on number of points, but on percentage of teams that will go up or down. Its natural that it changes depending on other people points.

well jack. its an ''issue'' as i never got promoted!! do you see champions league spots in the prem moving there places around. the championship play offs deciding in may that actually thats not enough points! NO!

Sorry, but you are not making any sense. You really do have an issue if you still didnt figure out how promotion/relagation system works, but you have only yourself to blame here.

You didnt get promoted because there were enough people who deserved it more, simple as that.

No, its current promotion breakpoint. You never noticed how it changes? There's a limit of players in each division, ofcourse breakpoint has to change in order to have proper number of players promoting or relegating.

My advice is to get to 510 next time.

errr... This is exactly what happens, only on a yearly basis, countrys lose their tickets for CL and EL depending on the resuls of their clubs in the respective leagues (ranking system)..

Sorry Niall, know you're pissed mate but that is how it works, otherwise you could have way too many people getting promotion. I'm currently on 542 points in D2 with a breakpoint next week currently 525 and I think I'll need more points to get promoted.
This system also stops people 'resting on their laurels' once they've hit the promotion point meaning more people playing right through the week- surely that's a good thing for the game? Least you know now and would take coolio's advice and hit considerably higher than the target to give yourself a good chance of getting promotion

have you not noticed how the points needed increases every time you have logged on? you also need to see how the relegation breakpoint changes as well. its just like real life mate, there are only so many places available for promotion, so sometimes you have to get more points, the same goes for relegation, last season 32 points would have meant that you didnt get relegated from the premier league, this season its going to be nearer 42.
