Ive downloaded the previous versions and ive been really impressed with the work thats gone into it, im looking to make an option file of my own, just need some pointers on how to do the logos and badges for kits and stuff, i'll have a look through these forums but if youve got any tips let me know

Im looking to download V4 tonight

Pointers:

Make sure that logo size is 32x32 pixels, png or gif, no more than 16 colours. Emblem size is 64x64 in either 16 or 128 colours. I use photoshop for all my work but there are other programs that can do the same.

Look out for "packs" of logo's dotted around the forums on here, evo-web and pesfan, made by some very talented individuals. I would say that png files seem to look better than gif's in-game, blending in better, but that is just my opinion.

Google it... and keep trying... that's how I learned anyway. Oh and lots of swearing when things weren't working properly early on!

If you let me know what teams you want to do I might just have some of the emblems / logo's ready to use on my pc, and I am happy to put up a link to share.

I'm traying to help with transfers.... and making a list of the missing transfers to post here but one month its to much time and I think it's better wait for the end of the transfer period, so wait a month and Chrispele can have an update with all the transfers.... And if you know about misstakes in the option file post it....

how easy it's talk and do nothing....

Rorix, I really appreciate you checking things over, so thanks and welcome aboard!
If you could post some of the things you have already found then we can get to work on them now, rather than rushing the file over a couple of days!

As there are a few people involved we need to share as much info as possible. I can only work on kits at the moment while josephgreentree is working on transfers. djdixie29 is going to go over the 4.1 BETA file, and if you want I will PM you a link when the time comes to check over, and you would have about 48 hours to get back any final changes I need to make before converting the file to different formats, etc. Both these guys are members over at evo-web.

Thanks for all your help... I can't guarantee that it will fix all of the problems to please all of the people but we will do our best!

Not as yet... I don't really have time to sort any out at present! Kits are looking as good as my last file - some are better, the thread is still on here if you want to take a look around the forum. Only major problems are things like the "V" on Man United's kits... as there is simply no way it can be done, and some of the detailing on Tottenhams kits is impossible too!

V4.1, in about 2 weeks, will fix many kit inaccuracies, as well as missing transfers, players and line-ups.

V4.2 will be out around the first week of September and is planned as the final ever version.

And I know is dificult to create all the missing players, do your best and consider the most important...

I'm working in the serie A transfers... but Ligue 1 and Eredivisie... is so dificult I will do my best...

And I'm not working with the Premier cus' you are from England right?

Wow! Thank you so much. It is always hard to get option files for US version but it works really well. Even though updated transfer and squad details (numbers, formations etc, ) are not accurate, i was really happy to play with this. I'm looking forward to seeing next version. Don't forget US version too :) Thanks so much!

Just to let you know V4.1 should be along by Wednesday at the latest... Even more kits updated, transfers and squad numbers / line-ups etc should be sorted. I will produce a .max, .xps and bin/cue for each Region and there will be a European PSP version.

Thanks Rorix for searching for all these, but i don't think all of them will make it in, sorry as I have to keep the EPL focus.

nv dwnld ur OF b4 but ur version seems one of the best around...jz wondering is the player names of classic squad fix? is there newly promoted teams for respective leagues? is there any changes to the player stats?

tis is not a request dun worry jz me askin cuz im looking around for OF wit latest transfers, kits with player name and team line-up fix but with teams(promotion/relegation), player stats remain untouched.

or if theres one around plz do point it out to me too lazy and an idiot to make one myself...hehe

if not then i'll jz wait for ur latest n final version...

I haven't updated any stats, just new created players have stats from pesstatsdatabase.com. Classic players have names fixed. New teams are only for the EPL, other leagues just have transfer updates.

V4.1 is due very shortly, if you want to wait; It will fix quite a few errors from V4.0. V4.2 will be released in the first week after the transfer window closes and will be the final version.
