Hi,

I have just got my new RIG and I am running Windows Vista 64 Ultimate and when I try to install my PS2 Pad ready for PES 2008, windows finds the drivers but when I go to COntrol Panel and try to select my joypad on Controllers it doesnt find it?

Anyone help please

I'm also on Vista Ultimate x64 and had no problems at all. Didn't install any drivers either :erm:

I stand corrected! Vista sees my joypad but PES does not.

I have no idea what planet I was on yesterday.

I have a PS2 pad with an adaptor and it works fine here, on Vista x64. Windows sees it and so do all games. I didn't have to install any drivers, even though the adaptor came with a mini CD. I think that's for XP 32, though.

Vista doesn't support the PS2 gamepad from what I read and there are no drivers to make it work. Clever work from Microsoft no doubt. I had to buy a 360 controller for Windows which works perfectly but makes me crap at PES because I HATE eight-way directional pads (the ones which have a diagonal rather than requiring you to hold two directions simultaneously) and am equally crap with the analog stick for movement.

Hi Danny plug in your Adaptor and PS2 controler go to controle panel/Device manager and right click on human interface device with the yellow mark against it left click on update driver select Browse My computer for a driver and enter C:\Windows\System32
This will install the generic driver for you
Hope this helps worked for me
