PS2: option file swapping of classic teams players via pesfan editor...

Hello

I play we9I (but i'm sure pes5 or we10 experts can help me...) and I have a problem, I'll try explain it the best I can...

I downloaded/use Watson's v4 option file (great!)
BUT
I am playing with a patched version of we9i (salmon...also great!)

The question is this:

On The salmon patch, the wc teams that aren't originally on the game replace classic teams (classic england=togo, etc), and since its a patch, it replaces name, kit, and all. However, on Watson's v4 of, he puts the "new" wc teams over various countries (china and angola, etc), and for the classic countries, puts their youth squads. I do not really care to play with youth squads, and was wondering how i could move the players from watson's option file onto my own option file (the way i like it) using PESFAN editor. I know how to import/export, but when i import over a classic england/youth squad member (like lennon) the new angolan guy replaces him in the tottenham squad as well. I DO NOT want this. I do not know any way around this, and was wondering what tricks you guys could offer me. I can offer more info if ths is confusing.

Thanks

The only way I can think of is this (using your Angolan example): Before you import the Angolan guy, or any players from those 4 WC squads, first open your option file you are importing to in PESFan Editor. Then go to the youth player's club team, in this case Tottenham, and remove the youth player (Lennon) from the squad. Now he is only on the under 21 national team. When you import the Angolan guy to in place of Lennon on the youth squad, the Angolan will only be on the national team and NOT on Tottenham. The defect with this is that if you still want Lennon on Tottenham, you will need another copy of the option file on your computer, and you will then have to import Lennon back into the option file you will use. He will probably have to take someone else's place in the option file. Hope this helps you

I'm sure there is a guide somewhere on here if you searchy, but in any event since no one else even bothered to answer you, here's what you do:

Open the PESFan Editor and select transfer from the top menu. That will give you three main columns: one that says all players, and two others that you can use to select the team, say Tottenham. Select the player to be released, and with the left mouse button held down, move the player to the column on the left of the screen. Voila, your player will be released and his spot taken by an empty spot. Experiment a little with a copy of the option file - that way you won't ruin anything if you don't like your edits.
