PS2 or PC

My PS2 is getting repaired at the mo so to keep the cold turkey at bay I had a few games on a friends PC, although I had to use the keyboard I found the graphics to be better, faster, and to boot easily editable/patched, so I am playing with the idea of getting PES6 on the PC, it does however greatly depend on the controller, I know you can get a PS2 controller - PC adapter for 7 squid I just need to know the following:

Does any body use a PS2 controller on their PC to play PES, if so how does it handle, are there any delay or any noticeable issues?

Any reason why I should stick to the PS2?

Thanks

An alternative to the ps2 controller is the xbox 360 one and that works great for me

I prefer playing the pc version with ps2 controller. The bonus is on pc you get to the gameplay much quicker and you dont need to use a memory card.

I've played on both, but I much prefer PC. PS2 purists don't really have a reason for prefering it other than the fact that it's on PS2. Nonsensical.

PC graphics are better, load times and save times are much better, it's eminently more patch-able etc, more saves can be stored, and the controllers work 100% fine - I've had an official PS2 controller linked up to my PC since PES3, and had no issues with it at all - no lag or anything. It's perfect. Simply a better version than the PS2.

Thanks Rkinder, quite convincing, I now see only one reason why I might stay with the PS2, well at least for PES6, that is having played online with pes5 I would like to play a few of the same people I played again with pes6, I understand that the future is a joint forum where PS2 and PC can play together. Is this so for PES6 anybody know?kiin
