There is a jonboyo patch thread located just a couple of threads below this one.
If you don't want to believe your eyes, use the Search function and type in "jonboyo".

hi just wondering is this option file better than wolfs?i have wolfs patch 2005 so could i use this,i mostly get my downloads from soccergaming's pes forum

Does this option file have real kits for the teams? I don't think they have, but if they don't, where can I get an option file with the real kits?

All the information is in the first post of this thread.
Use this option file ONLY if you're playing a patched version of the game to get real kits - as all kits are set to Default.

Get the normal pesfan V2 for a normal version of the game for kits improved in edit mode (but no way as good as in a patched version).

I used this file and noticed that some players' stats are editted like Gerrard and Luis Garcia. Why was that done? And is a version of the file without the stat changes?

I have the official patch version 1.10 but thats all i have so far.I keep seeing other patches on here but im not quite sure which one i need .I dont have maxdrive or anything like that so is there a way of getting a patch just for the pc ?I really do need help on this 1 guys so if u could help me out it would be appreciated .Last time i installed a patch i ended up killin me puter and have spent the last 3 days workin out how to install windows again lol! Cheers

ronaldo-9: v3 will be out mid-february, the changed in the option file will obvisouly be the january transfers, which will i turn affect starting line-ups etc. i will be editing it first and then passing it to zygalski for him to do his bit. keep your eyes peeled.

runeedge5k1: i dont know how luis garcia's and gerrard's stats were altered as i didnt do them and im pretty sure zygalski didnt, the team over at pesfan must have tampered with them before hosting it.

Attn MarkandDawn...will the new option file you r doing have updated stats for key players? i mean, Rooney's r abit low, lets face it, give the kid the ball in space near goal and he WILL score, even at international level as he proved in euro 2004. i aint no Rooney fan, i'm a Wolves fan...:( , but he does have outstanding ability. i also think players like Alan Smith's stats need updating too, and also the England side in general, scholes has retired and also vassel and heskey would not get in the team now, maybe downing, beattie and carragher?

I updated the England squad in the last update. I'm not sure about changing stats. Guess you can do it yourself.

I had it up to date as of when the file was released.

All option files WORK on all PS2s on all versions of the game.
But this file is not SUITED to work on an unpatched version of the game. Which is why there is the standard pesfan V2 option file for those playing the normal game. This modified option file works BEST with the jonboyo patched version of PES4. If you use it on a normal version of the game, you will see all the kits as default and all the players/teams are updated as in pesfan v2.

Please advertise liberally!

I tried to modify the older one as transfers are made but it's too hard! It's impossible to find a reliable 100% correct transfers site.
