I see that you've replaced many Eredivise teams. Can you not change the whole of the Eredivise to Championship? Also their are a few classic players (on the PSP) that has preset faces which you haven't added (e.g Sheringham and Keown)

I don't really have time to being doing all the special hairstyles anymore, so please don't ask me anything unless it isn't to do with that.

Feel free to add them yourself though. I may add them if I update.

To be honest, I don't really have a clue on making US versions.

Fan_94, you must open my option file as OF1 then choose your's as OF2 using File.
Then go to a team you want to replace like Preston, click a player and select import OF2 then choose the player you want to import. Do this for all the players you have edited. Then on team, you double click a team to copy kits over.

But make sure you don't go over a player who is playing for a national team. It says who they are registered to in the black box on the right on page 1.

This is my Version 4.1

This is a base on Smoki's great V2.5 Option File.

New in this file is:

-Added Reading, Sheffield United, Preston North End and Al-Ahly.
-Replacing many Eredivise teams.
-All transfers complete for all leagues as far as I'm aware.
-More special hairstyles.
-New Kits.
-More created and missing players.
-Some squad numbers fixed.
-More ML realism with more players demanding higher transfer fees and salaries.
-Some International teams updated with new players etc.

And more...

The things I have edited as a continuation of Smoki's OF are:

-More special hairstyles than any other PS2 option file. Such as Robinho longer on top than around the sides, Pienaar/R. Gardner dreadlocks and much, much more.

-Great stats update so you can enjoy the here and now, as well as the master league experience.

-Revised PL names, so they are shorter. (e.g. Cesc Fabregas is now Fabregas etc.)

-Revised many commentary call names.

-Revised team names to make them shorter. Don't see the point in lengthy team names, so now (e.g.) Glasgow Celtic is now Celtic etc.

-Completely revised the boots so they go with my old OF.

-Shop fully unlocked, including on PSP version.

-Fully updated all 20 PL teams complete with new players, full physique/face/accessories updates as well as stats revamp for realism. Still a work in progress though.

-More high quality emblems. Replaced Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Tottenham, Newcastle, Aston Villa and more.

-Revised stadium, league and cup names.

-Re-assigned loads of stadiums for teams for realism. This is for all leagues.

At the risk of sounding phenomenally thick...

I have a North American generation 2 PSP and a NA copy of PES 2009. I downloaded all three of the US version files as mentioned, by I don't know how to install any of them.

I would greatly appreciate a tutorial.

My internet connection has been disconnected for now, so I cannot do anything else like fixes or updates.

Feel free to update it yourselves while I cannot. I have new stuff on my file but cannot upload it due to the lack of internet.

PSP files must be placed in the savedata folder under the PSP folder. Just paste the whole folder named something like ULES500001300 or something in their, don't rename or change the contents.

After great discussion, JoeH and I have decided to keep his file as it is, with the occasional up to date, to make sure everything is in order. Our idea is too release two OF's side by side; the first being his current file, which is essentially a European-based file, like most other OF's available at the moment. Alongside this file, we will release a 'variety' file, featuring teams from across the world - incl. the Americas, some teams from the Middle-East as well as other teams from various parts of the globe. The Premiership would be kept as it is in JoeH's current file, as well as 10 Championship teams, for a British ML (Celtic and Rangers would be kept).

I think it's important to emphasise that there will still be JoeH's original file, so you switch between the two and try this experiment for yourself, and his original file will always be kept accessible. The main reason for us taking this approach is the number of quality (and in some cases world-famous) players that reside in these leagues; we also feel that most OF's generally offer little in the way of variety - ie, most follow a similar layout of La Liga and PL completed, with CL teams added and other minor corrections. We feel that this approach will offer much more variety, and will perhaps appeal more to users who support teams from around the world, and whose teams are not usually included in OF's.

Thoughts and suggestions on this approach would be greatly appreciated.

JoeH's internet has been cut off, and I've agreed to take over it in the mean time. The next update will probably be only a minor one, perhaps in 2 weeks or so. After that, I will be working on the secondary OF which I mentioned in previous post. Any questions relating to the OF should be directed to me until JoeH gets his internet back (which will be a while, I believe).
