[PS3] Adding and transfering players to teams

I have PES 2008 for the PS3 (North American version). I'm trying to update my option file to reflect new transfers. I go to EDIT > PLAYER > REGISTER PLAYER. Doing this I am able to transfer a player to another team, but I have to switch it with one of the current players. Is this really the only way to add players to a team? There are no blank spots for me to switch the player with on any of the teams. When I tried to remove a player on the target team first to create a blank spot, then went back and tried to switch that blank spot with a new player, the team just had 1 less player, and no extra space for me to put someone in.

For example: Removed Ronaldo from AC Milan. Went to "register player" tried to put Flamini on AC Milan. There should have been room because I removed Ronaldo. But no, the only way to add Flamini was to trade him for another player.

Please help! I've searched the forums for hours without finding an answer.

nah u can just go on a team and look for the option "add player" its always on top of the player list. i have the xbox 360 version idk if they are all the same but i hope it helps

just go to edit > register player> once u go there pick a team > once u pick a team you will see a list of all the players that belong to that team> but at the top of that list you will see an option "add player". after that u just pick the team where the player you are looking for belongs.
