PS3 Delayed until Sept 07? Will PES7 see light of day on PS3?

I'm honestly not that worried about we have to wait for ps3.
Having a ps3 nowadays isn't that good. There are a few new games and those aren't even close to get the ps3 to work as intended. Only in a year or so games will start revealing ps3 true potential. Just watch dmc4 or ffxiii and see their potential. That's the ps3 reason to be bought. And not really now.
A delay would be boring because it's only because of the lack of console production, I hate it when they put europe down, games like PES need the european community.
Oh, and screw xbox360 and wii for that matter. Wii has sold a lot more than ps3, big deal, the money sony has gotten with the ps3 sells is almost the same as the wii.Do the maths if you don't believe it.

Is the PS3 region free? I'ev heard it is from some people and heard it isnt from others?

if it is then you could get one from play-asia.com as theyre only about £325 or so! whereas theyre looking to be around £550 in the UK!!

EDIT: Sinspaw I'd hardly say fuck the XBOX 360 as its clearly shaping up better than the PS3 the now. Sony are tryna turn the PS3 into a PC by enabling all sorts of connections from iPods and shit.

yes I reckon the XBOX 360 will be since the first batch of PS3's will be faulty/buggy plus the games will be average until after 2008 because it'll be then the developers will realize they have so much power to work with.

But of course! Tell me, have you even bothered to check screens from FFXIII, DMC4, GT:HD? Because those don't look so average, and that's probably not even the ps3's max, not to mention that quality seems like an xbox 720 if you know what I mean. Dream on, microsoft released xbox 360 before for a reason - anticipation. They know that xbox 360 vs ps3 , xbox is like a well I don't wanna be harsh so, it just looks bad. Funny thing is I actually heard a microsoft guy saying "ps3 is , at most, the same quality as xbox 360." , try and not laugh at this one. It's true that for now, ps3 games will be average like you say , but in 2008 people are smart enough to realize that ps3 is xbox 360 2.0 , that is not to mention blu-ray and all. Sure it's expensive but that's a price i'm willing to pay.

PS3 is region-free, which means even if you buy your games from let's say Japan, you can use them with your UK console.

How can people be comparing the 360 that's been out for months to a brand new PS3? :no:

the ps3 wont be delayed again. they are'nt selling well in the US anymore, there are plenty of shops there that have 5+ ps3s sitting on the shelf doing nothing that no-one wants. so sony wont delay the euro launch again or otherwise they will cripple themselves, loyal sony fans (like me) will go to the "darkside" and buy a 360 and not get a ps3 for a few years, if at all.

theres absolutely no reason to delay again, with the ps3 not selling in the US they can put more effort into getting loads of ps3s manufactured ready for europe. ive heard that the UK alone is getting 2 million units on launch day.

I dunno who told you that but they're talking rubbish. The PS3 is very much like gold dust in the states, the fact I managed to get one is a miracle.

I have a 360 and a PS3 and for everyone slagging off one or the other, grow up. They're both great machines! I would say the the graphics are ever so slightly crisper on the PS3 but when compared to 360 launch games, they are quite a bit better. This however, does not make the 360 a poor machine, the game choice for the 360 is superb and it's still a very powerful machine.

Btw, there's no way anyone can say Blu Ray will be the next Betamax. Considering both are selling extremely poorly in the US (due to shocking prices), we will have a long way to go before being able to decide that. I decided to go for the HD DVD drive for my 360 so I have the choice of both formats anyways, so I can't complain.

Oh yeah, one more thing, PS3 games are well outselling Wii games, at least where I am in Florida.
