ps3 option file disabling trophies

just wondering if anyone else has come across this. i'm not that fussed about the trophies as i'd rather have the proper kits but it seems konami has messed up a bit if they have done this. it says using someone else's data means you can't get any trophies when you upload the option file. when you should have recieved one it comes up 'you have not recieved a trophy'. konami know editing is a major part of pes so what the hell is going on or is it just me!!(probably)

This happened to me just now. I scored in stoppage time to win the game and in the top right hand corner it said trophy not achieved, or something along those lines.I have the option file applied aswell and my two other trophies came before I installed it.

it did the same for me when i scored from 36m, but it did give me the trophy for winning the champions league on master league mode so im not sure whats happpening with it.

hmy: That's really strange. I also earned a trophy for getting into the championsleague knockout rounds although I've got an downloaded OF.

It's OK people don't worry.

When you copy a Option File to your PS3, copy everything EXECPT the PES2010 System data. You should keep your own System data but delete everything else and copy the Option File to your PS3.

So copy all kits and stuff but not system data, keep the system data you already had.
That way you can still earn trophies with a Option File.

Simples! And it won't affect the Option File or your trophies

^^ this guy is correct im sure, dont copy anyone elses system data, keep your own.

just a note though, i was using my own system data & i had this problem with not unlocking some trophys, no idea why.

But with system data not copied, can you still get the kits? Because you copy the kits, but will they be correct in edit mode? You know you have to do the kit in edit mode and then the logos. so does system data include edited shirts from edit mode or that's another story?

nah, you only have to use the edit data to get the kits etc, system data is a record of your personal things like options you have set & cups you have won or classic players you have unlocked.

i didn't copy the system file but the kits and badges were all okay. the trophies are still disabled though. it's strange that this doesn't affect some people but some of us are not getting them.

Guys. Here's a hint to unlock trophies after installing an OF if they're still locked,

(ps3)

Create new user account for ps3. Log on with new user account. Now you see all edit data is gone when you enter pes 2010. Quit game and delete new user account. Log on with old user - voila. Trophies can be unlocked again.

Used it myself after installing an OF that unlucked trophies. Afterwards i was able to unlock them again.

I doubt location matters but I did download mrgamtight's OF for NA after I had already started winning trophies on the game - like other posters mentioned, the only file I didn't upload to my PS3 was mrgametight's system data, and therefore, I had no problems continuing to win trophies and earn stats.

I also made the mistake of copying over my own system data file cuz I just made a new PS3 account. Even after I deleted the system data file it still said trophy not earned so all I did was turn off the PS3, fired it up a min later and problem solved. Now I got my first glory trophy even though it's my 2nd win lol.
