Paul, you are amazing. A year passed, but PES is as entertaining as ever. In fact, I only now started the ML, all thanks to you. The only downside is that MU has the old kit, but what you can do...

My only suggestion is to fix Blind, he is too weak I think and his playing position is also a bit wrong. Bind is a better player overall.

I guess when PES 15 come out you'll start working on another OF? I was hoping someone will still be doing the transfers for PES 2014.

Glad you are enjoying it mate :) I don't change the stats of IG players, I'm sure he will have better stats in PES 2015 though. His positions look correct to me LB/DM as his main positions & CB/CM as his secondary ones ;)

Paul, my PES is BLUS and I installed your OF, but I am having trouble with several teams, uniforms and cast are OK but the game plans are wrong. How can I do to fix this?

I've converted the Edit date (BLAS) to (BLUS), but still with the same problems.

Hi paul ,

Thanks for making pes 2014 playable :) , It's a great update but when I play against Real Madrid pepe is GK ...also when playing against Barcelona Pique is GK .. so some positions are changed after the new transfers I know .. is there a fix for that ? wish you all the best mate .
Have a nice day.

chants

Hi Paul. I have asked 7oy this question also, but his site has been inactive for a while.....

Please can you provide some advice with chants ? I have allocated chants to a number of teams in the game. But I'm worried that in the event my ps3 crashes / gets corrupted e.t.c. and can no longer be used ( it will happen one day ), that I will lose those chants forever. So I want to back them up, as I would do with any other edited data.

I assume the chants are saved in the "edited data" section of the "saved data utility" along with everything else? If so, ( after copying the edited data to a USB thumb drive ), they'd be safe and ready to transfer to another ps3 if my present one packs in ? Is this correct ? I hope the process is as simple as this.

Or are chants different and required to be backed up some other way ?

I just want to play safe, as it took me AGES to get all the chants into the various teams.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't used chants for a few years, but I believe they are just stored as music files on your PS3, so you would need to back them up, then when re-applying check the correct chants are assigned to the correct teams/players.

Yes, that's what I suspected - the chants aren't stored in the "edit data" file, but on the ps3's hard drive.

So my next question is ; how do I backup the chants from the ps3 ? As they're not in the "edit data file", it's not as simple as copying them onto a USB thumbdrive e.t.c. as I ordinarily would for other data.....

.....could you kindly provide a step-by-step procedure for doing so ? Or if not, can you link me with somewhere that can ?

Thanks very much......

It's basically the same process mate you just go to Music instead of Save Game Data & copy the the files to your USB ;)

Thanks for the VERY QUICK reply, Paul. I've got it sorted in the meantime, though. I used the brilliance of the internet to look it up, and found the official Sony online manual, which details the procedure.

I thought it was more complicated than it actually was, so I asked you first because I know you have much experience with P.E.S. editing, and thought I would tap into your knowledge base.

Have a great week, and thanks for your time.

P.S. Oh by the way, while I'm here - have you noticed how, in P.E.S. 2014 ( ps3 ), when you're taking corners, virtually ALL of the players of both teams stay OUTSIDE the 6 yard box ?!! This makes it considerably harder to attack the goal ( with headers e.t.c. ) as they're too far out. This doesn't reflect real life, where the attackers and defenders jostle for advantage INSIDE the box. Sure you can send in an out-swinger, but this shouldn't be necessary all the time.

This flaw ( ? ) in the gameplay has been in previous versions of the game for some years now. Has anyone else noticed this, and why doesn't Konami fix it ( if they're even awake to it ) ? Or if it isn't a flaw, can anything be done within the game ( via tactics e.t.c. ) ? to improve this frustrating situation ?

The only way around it is to manually take control of one of your attackers mate.
