[PS3!] - PES 2016 Option File Information

Hi

Long time viewer but first-time poster, I've been playing PES since the beginning. Always appreciated all the ridiculous hard work that goes into generating the option files (after trying to do it myself and tearing my hair out). For the past few years I've used GTM's/PESWORLDs file religiously, as his file was simply the most complete and rewarding to play as. The attention to detail is staggering, and personally i think we've been spoilt. KONAMI really need to pay that guy as without him i'm sure most of us wouldn't bother

ANYWAY!

Think we need to finally put some info up about the PS3 Pro Evo, as there is hardly any information from Sony or option file makers on what the deal is this year (I am somewhat suspicious about this, as I am sure they would have sold far less copies on the PS3 if people had known the truth about how it works this year - I've seen loads of people ask file makers/KONAMI questions and been met with blanks or extremely vague answers). There is info online saying that the new format of kits is usable for PS3...

1) Most of the main option file makers have switched to PS4 to make kits instead. Thats fine, but no-one has mentioned that these kits for PS4 ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PS3!!
So basically you need this years kits in the same format as last year, and unless someone comes up with an option file (which seems unlikely) this means you will have to manually build every kit from scratch. If i had known this i doubt i would have picked this years up, and would have sstuck with 2015, no matter how much better the game is. The amount of time needed for editing is insane

2) There IS A IMPORT/EXPORT TEAM FUNCTION. People are saying there isn't but there is. I did not use this, but it is there in the PS3 copy! So basically the edit suite is pretty much the same as 2015 - not like the PS4 copy

3) You can import last years club emblems and competition emblems. THERE IS AN OPTION THERE FOR THIS! This hasn't been mentioned anywhere either. Its a blag waiting for it to transfer over, but is a bit easier when manually doing everything.
There doesn't seem to be the same for the kits however (kill me now!)

As much as i want to enjoy playing the sumptuous football game that has finally reached all of our expectations its hard not to be absolutely gutted that in order to play properly I will need to put 100+ hours of editing time in to try and 'complete' this game. I am praying someone decides to do an option file for PS3, but until then i think I'll have to focus on the Premier League and trying to find kits etc.

Hi badassdewi,
thanks a lot for your post.
After playing pes since iss pro 98, I gave up on pes in 2011 and decided to get the 2016 as I found the gameplay much better than it used to be.
You are saying the pes 2015 option file can be imported in pes 2016.
Do you know if it would possible to copy somewhere in my ps3 the pes 2015 option file I would get from internet and then import it in pes 2016 ?
Or do you think I absolutely need the pes 2015 game ?
For a start, I am talking about correcting the player names and clubs, the kits seem to be much more difficult to import.

Maybe one day there will be a PC software that would convert a ps4 option file into a ps3 version... you never know.

As you are saying, I confirm at the moment there is no ps3 option file for pes 2016 and I am not sure there will be one.

Thanks for your help.
Best regards

Actually there was such a software (changing from one platform to the other ) .. i used it in PES 2013..and discovered some of the more known OF developers used it as well .. it was such a pain in the butt in the beginning and some trial & erro ... but the results were magnificent.. not only you could do global changes in the game (like adding +2 speed /stamina to all players but you could also revive players who vanished from the game but hidden there or get the voice over (say Ronaldo or Ronaldinho ) or licensed players that Konami took out ..you could basically change anything in the game you can imagine (the good thing is that PES 2013 were as well based on the same engine as the ones before it
i don't know if they still make it (the software developers like the guy who used to make the wild editor) but i had the link back in PES 2013 copied so here was the steps

) Download BruteforceSaveData GUI: >>HERE<< http://aldostools.org/temp/BruteforceSaveData.rar
2) Copy your PES 2013 "SAVEDATA" Folder in Bruteforce Folder
3) Insert your Console ID in global.conf with notepad (you will find consolde id with MM @"systeminfo"or Or you can use my console_id=00000001008a000b1400c9d12c4dcb8f)
4) Start Bruteforce Tool
5) Now your Savegame must loaded automaticly
6) If your Savegame Protected yes --> click patch sfo
7) Now the Savegame Decrypting Part begins. Follow these Steps and it worked 100%
decrypt PFD --> update PFD --> Now you have a decryptet PS3 OF DATA
8) Convert your decrypted PS3 OF Data with smeagols Convertor Tool to PC OF Data
9) Start PES w!Ld@ Editor 2.0 and load your PC OF EditBin. Happy Editing! After saving your PC OF with w!Ld@ Editor, you cane use PRO EVO Editing Studio Tool as well.
10) Next Step is to decrypt the PC EditBin with w!Ld@ Decryptor
11) Convert your decrypted PC OF EditBin with smeagols Convertor Tool back to PS3 Format
12)Start Bruteforce GUI again and follow these Steps:
patch sfo --> update PFD -->encrypt PFD --> verify PFD
13) Now we have finally enrypted the PS3 OF Data.
14) Copy new Savegame Files on Console
15) Run PES 2013 & Have Fun with your OWN Editing Option File.....

If someone knows if these awesome guys still do those software it would help everyone do their own option files because it's so much easier doing it on your PC/Laptop than the PS3/PS4.. all you need was any save game data

back to the point i believe the PS3 OF will come out but people are waiting for the update this week first to avoid doing their work all over again

Hi Thanks alot for this mate! This seems like a simalar PES Editor as in the PS2 days, where we could change even 'locked' settings in the game.

For instance: The Eredivisie League of Master League Mode doesn't allow you to change the balltype. You have to play with the PES 20years ball which is annoying for me.

So I just have to install the tool on my PC/laptop and import my PS3 savedate file of PES2016 with Bruteforce?

So I need two programs, is that correct?

EDIT: your link doesn't work :(

Hi
You cannot port your PES 2015 option file into PES 2016 directly (so the names/kits/team names etc)... but it does have an option to port all of the Badges and Competition stuff from 2015 to 2016.
It basically saves you trawling the internet for the badges, loading them onto your PS3 and uploading them one by one. On mine i now have all the Prem/Championship/Bundesliga/League badges already in, and i just have to go reassign them.

As you mention I really do hope that someone has a general option file in the works after the update comes out, as I really don't think I can handle 100+ hours of that "1985" song :/

Also something that may pacify me for now is just changing the teams to the right colours (so Liverpool to red, Chelsea to blue etc)... I have the club crests and names sorted out, so i can live with a red plain kit with the LFC badge on for now

Check out peskitsallin.br for PS3 kits. You have to import in the same way as PS4, but it's better than nothing. Was hoping someone would have time to throw it all together and create an OF - not something I've got time for sadly.

I think you misunderstood my post , what i meant was it's possible & was done before up until 2014 (i did it in 2013 and was one hell of a costume made OF including classic clubs )
i don't know if it will work on PES 16 because it's a different engine (fox engine ) and the guy who created the wild editor stopped due to busy schedule
What we need is a PES fan with programming skills.. it's all in the data found in any save game ..from that it's easy to make is PC accessible and transform it back to PS3 save game as it was
I believe Asia in particular has so many versions of the game because i've seen it around modded versions of the game for PS3 .. but hard to find on the internet

anyhow you can google the name of the software and you will find it on the web i'm sure

I think they will do it after the update (which hopefully will be the end of this week ) give it a week tops after it you'll see the guys posting it even if Paul & Glen had immigrated to the PS4 system PS3 still has the ability of sharing option files instead of making it team by team

Well, glen from PESWorld has just put a call out for kit makers with the PS3 version...!

This is tremendous news for PS3 owners. :) I just mentioned in another thread here that it would be great to see a PS3 option file as the game has turned out so brilliantly on the older platform. So impressed this year with PES 16 on PS3. :)

Could you post a link here when it happens? I'm not registered there but I will do if there's an option file available. Quite happy to donate too if needs be.

I've no option file knowledge, but I've made some kit images for PS3.

My time consuming and fairly flawed solution was to create a macro that chops up the PS4 kits into the right slices for PS3. They're a little more pixelated than I'd like, (I think that's just because it's PS3 (I had PES2015 on Xbox One)), and I've not been able to test every kit yet to make sure everything lines up, but they're much better than the default... Especially my beloved NUFC and their famed Salmon Pink and White Stripes.

In the process of trying to upload them to see if anyone wants to test them. Beginning to regret using SAFC as my example tweet mind you....

Yeah me & a few others asked him if he knew of any PS3 OF's on twitter so looks like he's seen it.

I did find the one mentioned earlier but think it was on an Italian site (link been put up on here) & despite having family there had no idea what it said! So if anyone manages it & wants to add it to this site (with credit & permission of course) would be grateful.

Kits

Hi

Just to reiterate from my first post, and to keep it clear for us PS3 guys/gals -

1) Most kit makers/option file peeps are making stuff that is compatible for the PS4 only.
2) Those kits are not compatible at all with PS3 game.
3) PS3 kits have to be in the same format as last years game PES2015.
4) Basically all of us PS3 owners are awaiting kits to be generated, and hopefully for some brave young types to sit and thrash out an option file that includes the names, badges, kits.... much like how GTM has always done in the past
5) GTM has indicated that something is on the horizon on Twitter, so i would hazard a guess he may assist some people in putting an option file together for the PS3 with some his kit work (fingers crossed)
6) The games been only been out a few days and we are all rabid to play with the real kits etc
7) We need to be patient! Having tried to just rename the teams that needed doing it took me ages (the menus are very clunky)

For now I will carry on with MyPES and the licensed stuff, and will await further developments. I did sit down for an hour to start tackling the names/emblems, and had grand illusions of making my own option file (I've done a fair bit in the past), but the sheer amount of donkey work involved means it just isn't feasible - especially if there are other far more qualified people generating the same thing :)

I am hoping for a Championship/Bundesliga type thing, though I did consider making a league with the missing Europa League/Champs League teams instead (not sure i need a full Bundesliga)... we'll wait and see
