1. You don't want to copy over/replace the 'System Edit' file on your machine. You'll lose any trophies, etc. if you try to do that. Leave it alone. That is why the 'System Edit' file is not included in the download.
2. The crucial file is the 'Edit Data'.
Yes, thank you, you are totally right. I typed "System Edit" when I meant "Edit Data."
I have a USA PS3, with PES 2011 1.2, running data pack 7.0.
I should point out that I've installed several OFs for PES 2010/2011 over the last couple years, so I am familiar with the process. I copied over all the files, deleted the default Edit Data on my hard drive, then copied over the Edit Data from the downloaded OF.
But when I look at the game, all the teams have their default names and badges -- nothing appears to have been edited. It looks like I've just replaced the default edit data with more default edit data.
Is there any chance you might email me a copy of just a working Edit Data folder? That way I can know for sure that it's not a corrupt file. cklarock at gmail dot com
Thanks for any help -- I'm looking forward to playing your OF, it sounds excellent!
