Im probably gonna get both but my friend told me that the PS3 wil be double the spec of xbox 360. the only reason xbox 360 is coming out so soon is that people can get hold of a next gen console for crimbo, but for people who are gonna get just one id probably wait for PS3, the only reason im gettin an xbox 360 is so i can play online games until the PS3 comes out.

I might get the 360 just for Xmas and PES might be out for it before the PS3 is even released...so that'll do it for me til PS3 :)

Also by the time the PS3 is released the XBOX 360 will have a lot of god games and the developers will be getting the hang of the new specs for the consoles...whereas when the PS3 is released the first games out might not be too good as the developers wont know how much theyc an actually do with the new system...

Yes Gunrunner im in the same boat if PES comes out for xbox 360 before the ps3 has even come out then that is a bonus! im gonna get a 360 because ive not played online with my current xbox coz it isnt hucked up but i played pes online at my mates and it was class!

I will probably buy the revolution, as I don't much liek either ps3 or xbox360, and I can always get Winning Eleven on pc, easier to patch anyway.

The PS3 will technically edge it on specification and actually running, but it really won't matter as people will buy the console they prefer based mainly on the respective games available and according to their preference in brands.

I've been looking around at some PS3 info and I thought some of you would be interested in looking at this:

That's from Amazon's french site.

If you look carefully, you'll find the words "15 mars 2006". In English, this is obviously 15th March 2006 - this being the latest official release date.

And according to xe.com, the PS3 will cost around £272. Which isn't a bad price. I remember the PS2 cost around £300 when it was first released.
