(PS3) Why is my data from the USB stick always corrupted??

No matter which option file I try to load to the PS3, under the save data utility>usb device it always says corrupted data..

i am downloading the file.
Created a folder PS3 in the usb and then another inside that called SAVEDATA.
I am then unzipping the data from the option file into this SAVEDATA folder...

what am i doing wrong??

do i download to the pc then unzip to the usb folder?
have i made the wrong folders on the usb?
does anyone have a step by step guide of how to get option files from the pc to the ps3 via a usb memory stick?

have you formatted the usb stick in fat32 mode?

try another usb formatted in this way?

Are you sure that you are getting the correct game data, like the right PES game, and are you using the right data. Like Europe game saves and North America game saves. Make sure you have the correct one.

1. Download the game save to PC.

2. Now create a folder called 'PS3' in your USB Stick.

3. In the 'PS3' folder make another folder called 'SAVEDATA'.

4. Now un-zipp the data and then copy into the 'SAVEDATA' folder.

6. Now insert USB to PS3 and copy the data - simples

If that does'nt work i'm not sure why it's not working.

Having the very same problem myself although my usb did work long enough to transfer the data onto the ps3, it was after that when i had the problems so i think the problem is that i took my usb out when the ps3 was on and it has corrupted the data. tried deleteing the data from the usb and putting it on again but its still sayin corrupted. im now gunna try formatting the usb completly next. hope this helps slightly if u hav another usb lyin round id try it.

ok dunno if ur using vista or whatever but its gunna be pretty similar. Havent got time to try this yet so dont know if it will fix the prob...

stick in your usb stick and go to my computer
right click on your usb stick in the my comp window and a number of options should come up
you shold see format down on that list.
dont foget to backup your usb before this as it will delete everything on it

Ok so i have tried that this is annoying me

I formatted the usb on fat32.
i re downloaded the kit pack
i made a folder PS3>SAVEDATA>
I unzipped straight into this
safeley remove hardware
into the ps3 saved data utility>usb device> corrupted data

The process of elimination would suggest that the usb and files are ok so is this a problem on the ps3 side??
