[PS4] PES 2018 BOC - complete OF by various Editors

I hadn't installed anything, I was going through different OFs to see which one looked most organized and without duplicate players turned into different players, and settled on this. So I was just perusing through the files before installing them, and noticed the things I wrote on my post.

So far I have checked 33% of the players (= 5.000 players so far) in Master League.
I have found 11 Duplicates. 7 of them I have fixed so far.
The following 4 Duplicates are original KONAMI Duplicates:

1.) Xisco in Ossasuna (correct) & Mung Thong United (wrong: was old team)
2.) Robson in Boavista (correct) & Esthegal FC (wrong: was old team)
3.) S. Garcia in RCD Espanyol (correct) & Al Rayyan SC (wrong: was old team)
4.) R. Doan in Groningen (correct) & Gamba Osaka (wrong: was old team)

I wonder what to do with those players as simply removing from the wrong teams will not make them dissapear. For now I will release them form the wrong teams but will not edit them, maybe some konami Live Update will fix this (but I hardly believe in this). Mybe I will take them after I finished the duplicate check and will use this players to base copy some of the players that were created for new teams and set the reset and release the created players. Or maybe someone has another smart Idea for those Konami duplicates.

I will continue the duplicates check tommorrow evening and fix all players.
After that I will post a fix for this issue.

Thanks. By the way, would you consider using more generic competition logos? For example, a generic African Cup of Nations emblem, or World Cup image without a year or location name? Just for a matter of longevity in the game. You can find some of them in my signature.

PS: There are some duplicate images for stadiums, will you take a look at that to remove duplicates? (As an example, Tottenham's or Cardiff's stadium)

Sorry, but no. I was more interested in mexican League and south american teams.
And i am not aware if using those mls teams is causing conlicts or not.

If you want to use the mls teams instead, i would suggest to do a complete wipe out of images and deleting EDIT data.

Remove Liga MX and the 3 folders of south american teams and add the mls and import the files.

After that, copy only the removed Liga MX and south american teams on a usb flash drive. Import each team one by one ticking the 1st and 2nd Box. This way you can see directly if a mls or a fake team would be overwritten. If it is a mls team, abbort the import and continue with the next team.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT CHANGE THE TEAM YOU WANT TO OVERWRITE (eg. Cruz Azul would overwrite LA Galaxy - in this case do not change to a fake team instead of LA Galaxy. This would create a big mess).

This way would be the best, if you want to use the mls teams instead.
But I am not aware if this is not causing conlicts with players.
And you will need the standard Mexico NT export, i used the updated one

Importing the mls afterwards, overwriting the edited teams would be more tricky, because you would need to delete images manually - upfront for All the teams you will overwrite, otherwise you are running out of space for images.

I am fine with the emblems for competition so far, but I will have a look and will create an alternative pack, so you can choose between the ones with the year in it and the ones without a year

MLS was created in Other Latin America section. Does not install over Liga MX. After installing MLS it leaves 2 fake teams - S.D. Quaztolla and Poquehillo.

I just created Colorado Rapids on S.D. Quaztolla and will be uploading and posting shortly.

Minnesota United FC is being creating over Poquehillo. So that will leave 0 teams left in Other Latin America section with the 22 MLS teams installed.

Yes, decides which he wants........That is why I install an OF on second profile and just swap teams out. Profile 1 have the South American teams, profile 2 have the MLS.........just need to clear image space by deleting out managers and stadiums as habe 2 complete OF's on both the profiles.

I should add to my post above.......I have 2 other teams in Other Latin America section taken.........so the 22 MLS teams will still leave 2 fake teams. I keep forgetting that because I have taken care of it already with my OF's.

I have double checked this and i have Pizarro at Köln and Heynckes as manager in München. And i used exaxtly the files from that rar archive.

Try to just import the Bundesliga out of complete v1.1 version (tick 2nd and 3rd box). Maybe this helps already.
Then you will not have to install everything again.

If this does not work i can export the Bundesliga again and create a separate file.

To import the files, I sugest to start with the ones that don't need to have any box ticked. Import Competitions first and the teams afterwards. Each time, select all competitions / teams and simply import them without ticking any of the three boxes.

On another note, I prefer to use the MLS, so I'm going to kind of reorganize stuff, keeping the best/most popular Mexican teams and adding them to the South American competition for a semi-proper Copa Libertadores. While still having the MLS. Haven't decided if I'm going to keep the extra two MLS teams not in the league, but in the South American Competition every year, would be a little weird to me, but trying to make up my mind.

After I'm done I'll upload it here for anyone else that prefers that, I'll also help go over the duplicate players. And overwrite them if extra players are needed for a particular squad.

Simply copy these images of this rar file into the WEPES folder, go into EDIT MODE, IMPORT IMAGES, COMPETITION EMBLEMS and import all six images with the box ticked, to overwrite existing files with same name

EDIT:
I have checked the stadium images imported into my PES 2018, there is no Stadium pic duplicated for me. There are the files in the folders duplicated (eg. in Premier League and in National team folder), but if the files have the same format AND the same name, it is no issue.
If one of the images was already imported the second one will not be imported as PES this year recognices that a file with the same name exists. You can double check this by simply copying a specific image only onto usb drive and try to import it several times - the game will show the copy screen but will not copy the image.
If you tick the overwrite box, the image will be overwritten, but in the end it has no effect, it will be only one image imported - another issue is, if an updated image has the same name but is in other format (e.g. PNG and JPG) then both images will be copied and not be overwritten

Also, and for this I'll contact the Brazilian exporter, I did some editing of the classic teams. I didn't go through everyone and fix the absurd overratings, just did a couple of tweaks and also created Adriano, Beckenbauer, and Gamarra, to replace the lesser players (M'Boma, Hierro, and the S. Korean guy) on the squads. I've also fixed the managers. I will make an export and offer to that guy, and to you as well if you find these edits to enhance the game.

Maybe you can have a look at the players again, once I have finished my chase for duplicates. It could be that I will not recognice them all - it is really exhausting to watch for them...

You're welcome. Do you have seen my edited part about the stadium duplicate files in the folders?

By the way the order of exporting and importing teams does not affect the alphabetical order. This has to be done manually. But I could imagine, that maybe exporting a competition after putting the teams into alphabetical order might save this particular order. I will give it a try later on.

Regarding the classic teams - I am not sure, if the overrating comes from editing or if it just the value of the real legend you can obtain in MYCLUB Game mode.
You can offer the file and I will post them as an alternative download. For me the legends / classic teams are not that important - my son likes to play with such overpowered teams and scoring a lots of goals

I did see it :thumbsup:. I saw the Facebook page for the Brazilian guys and I'll contact them directly there. I think I'll enjoy what I have for now, keep my Classic Teams once I've gone over every player, and then wipe everything out, and reinstall the updated OF. This way it will also be easier to make changes since the images in the image bank will be bunched together in order of leagues and clubs, so updates are simpler.

"Lesser players" - Hierro?? And I haven't checked the squads yet but I assume the "S. Korean guy" is Hong-Myung Bo? Along with M'boma, 3 quality players. Although of course Beckenbauer was in a different league, and assuming you mean the Paraguayan Gamarra he was quality too (but better than Hierro?)

I have checked all players in Master League Mode and I found in total 25 duplicates.
8 of them are created by Konami - the same player exists twice in different licensed teams:

7.) Ahmad Yasser in Cultwal Leonesa (correct) & Lekhwiya SC (wrong: was old team)
8.) A. N'Diaye in Clermont Foot (correct) & Aal Taawon FC (wrong: was old team)

For the Moment I will keep the Players and Teams like they are.
Simply releasing them from the wrong team would correct those 8 rosters, but still the players are there in Master Leagu Mode, maybe someone has a smart solution to fix this issue - live updates have not chenged that by now.

The other 17 players I have found were in:

Hamburger SV (2), Qarabag(2), Apoel Nikosia(3), Maribor(1), Celtic(2), Partizan(1), Santa Fe(1), Medellin(1), Chacarita(3), Melbourne Victory(1).

Here is a fix to remove the duplicates. I transferred the from the beginning existing ones and resetted the used ones and released them from each team.

Simply Import those Teams with 2nd and 3rd box ticked.

Maybe valencia5 or someone else can double check the players and find out if there are any duplicates left, besides the 8 KONAMI ones mentioned above.

This Update includes 3rd kits for Premier League and a fix for Sunderland (Credits to Erzo77). To install these files, just tick 3rd box when importing the teams.

Also included is an update of African Nationteams, modified by nicoultras.

To install this files, delete in EDIT Mode following 5 STADIUM images first:

GhanaStadium
MarruecosStadium
SudafricaStadium
TunezStadium

Then import the files ticked with 2nd and 3rd box ticked.
