My PLA / Other Latin America Setup

A few people were saying they were wanting this. Took a second to format it properly so this is what is included:

All 22 MLS teams

6 Mexican teams - America, Monterrey, Pumas, Tigres, Tijuana, and Chivas Guadalajara

2 Bolivian - Bolivar and The Strongest

2 Colombian - Independinte Medellin, Santa Fe

3 Ecuadorian - BarcelonaSC, Emelec, Quito

3 Paraguayan - Libertad, Olimpia, Guarani

1 Peruvian - Melgar

3 Uruguayan - Penarol, Nacional, and Montevideo

1 Venezuelan - Zamora

Please read and follow the instructions, I put together a method to fix duplicates, even though I can't get into your free agents, but this way, I am able to.

Extremely important to install the folders in the order I numbered them for you, from 1-5 in order to eliminate all duplicates from your edit files concerning any players on the teams included in the pack.

Make sure 2nd Box "Apply player and squad data" is always checked for all of the following imports:

1. Duplicate Fixes - will eliminate duplicates created from the MLS, and other South American team bases/original edits, by temporarily moving and resetting the duplicate to the "European Classic Team"

2. Classics - Reloads the default classics, thus resetting the team and sending the fixed/reset duplicates into the free agent pool as the original fake players.

Then the following 3 folders will include the proper versions of players on to the imported teams.

3. MLS
4. MX
5. Other Latin America

**NOTE** Included in part 1 are also, created versions of Ronaldinho, Xabi Alonso, and Didier Drogba that I used for fun, but they will be sent to the free agent pool as well. Use them or delete them, whatever suits you!

Credits:
I reworked, base copied, or made some small fixes on all of this stuff, but the bases were as follows:

Volte's MLS Base, edited by Buckshot.

Erzo's Liga MX base for the 6 included Mexican teams.

Latam, Barca4eva, Rawkus, and other various editors from the PESGaming PES2018 Shared Teams thread, for the bases of the remaining Latin American imports.

Feel free to let me know if you have any issues. Enjoy guys.

Hi mate, i tried by step (1 to 5) and it appears like pratically every teams was "corrupted", i've got players with 0, multiple time the same goalkeepers etc.
I don't know what's going on.

Btw i'm working on Brasilerao faces for now on my V82 basis option file, i've already done that with all fakes NT, with HQ faces and corrections...
And same as you valencia5, i didn't play more than 4 games until now

Well done, mate ! Would you bother sharing this interesting team with us ? I am personally still missing some Asian teams, and since I want to respect the game's structure with countries unless a lot of people who prefer complete leagues... ;)

Well, i also want to respect the in-game fake teams countries by making an OF without full league, but what can we do with the two portuguese teams in PEU league?
There will be two 2nd division teams from portugal that i really don't care who are gonna participate on ML championship... Same as the 6-7 serie B brasileirao teams on PLA league (or OAT)

Also, it's really hard to create with accuracy some teams from some asian country, and believe me, i've done all NT and to even find some players height/weight is sometimes really hard.

If there are some guys here talking Indonesian, Arabic, Indian, Persian etc. it shouldn't be an issue. Google translation from "height/weight" is not really accurate

I really want to do that, but when it will be done, PES 2019 will be out.
When i'm done with Brasileirao faces and transfers, i will "try" to made an approximative FM to PES converter/guide, with 3 or 4 choices of players:

> Low International reputation
> Medium International reputation
> High International reputation

etc., so attributes will fit with already IG players made by Konami.

I've got a single issue for converting one attribute accurately: Jumping (i've tried a FM>PES converter before
Fifa is more appropriate for a good converter, but there is not as much teams for all countries

I've done a converter and jump is the more difficult attribute to adapt. You'll have to create a variable with the height and the jumping reach (with the same jumping reach and more height, less jump attribute)

When we can export the FM database (with the hidden attributes), I'll be able to complete the converter.

vialli82

Registered User
I will not use Jumping Reach for my conversion i think.
In FM, it's pratically in their formula height equal 85%, and real jumping 15%...
Don't understand their system.

If they're was a preferred move which is related to Header, it could be much more doable, but i'm open to suggestion, for now on i plan on using other tactical attributes (even other physical) for that attribute.

You can do a manual converter too, by using FM Genie scout.
That's what i plan. I've also got an FM 2017 exported database on excel with prefered moves included

Thanks a lot! Just a weird issue with Liga MX teams not having kits import. Other than that, the issue where gameplans and team lists getting messed up because of the PC conversion, but looks fine otherwise!

Is there a solution to this problem? I installed on ps4 and I have a dozen copies of one player on each team..

Yeah sorry guys forgot to mention that. There is a problem going from PS4 to PC and vice versa...

If you import a team made from another platform. A few things get bugged out..

1. The player names list it appears to have numerous copies of the same player which is usually the GK. But in the actual squad data, the players are present and fine. There are two ways to fix the display bug, either do what buckshot said, and revert to default gameplan data, or you can toggle team selection from "unedited" to "by ability" exit and then switch it back, and it should fix it either way.

2. The most annoying bug. The formations if you have it set to "switch preset tactics". Offensive should be fine, but defensive, and custom the formations are completely jacked up with, multiple GK's and all other players spread around the extreme upper and lower left corners and even past them off of the pitch display.
To fix this I had to copy the offensive tactics to both, and either edit them myself or shut them off, which wasn't an option for me since I like to be able to switch my preset tactics.

3. Lastly similar to the second bug I mentioned, this one has to do with the actual attacking and defending instructions. All values for support range, defensive line, compactness will be set to 1. Along with all other instructions will all be set to the same as all the other imports that have been imported cross platform.

A little tedious but not too time consuming. I had to do it on every single team I imported from this site where I had to check the 2nd box "apply player and squad data" Which meant all of the unlicensed National Teams, Bundesliga, MLS, CSL, the other Euro, South American, and Asian teams imports.

Also if you imported any duplicate fixes from anyone or even any licensed team that had some player adjustments or transfers where you had to check the 2nd box when importing from cross platform .TED this may have happened to that team too. I know I also had to do it with all of nicoultras's European teams...and Brazil as well.

Sorry it wasn't easier but there's no way around it cross platform. You guys may want to check other teams you may have imported cross platform and didn't realize.

Thanks for bringing it up Buckshot, totally slipped my mind.

On this note, sorry I know it's off topic, but if any of you friends from this site, wouldn't mind helping me out. This is the first year I'm going to dive into Football Manager 18. I loved the reviews and how deep it actually goes.
But I'm kind of confused as to the best way to set it up. I found some mods that look very cool like the kits, added tourneys and logos etc. Seems simple enough....

But there's so many leagues, so many players, I have a great CPU and gaming station, and I'd love to add ALL the leagues/players to it, but it's advising me as to limitations

How wonderful to have like almost 400k players from all the nations and multiple leagues, I'd love to use them all, but I do have some questions as to optimal setup...what I would be missing or what would sacrificed in certain setups. I have all the editors, and bought the in game one too.

It just amazes me the fact that it would be a possible to find a 15 year old player in 4th division in Zimbabwe or something, add him to your academy and before you know it, a few years down the line he's scoring goals in EFL championship, and PSG offers you 40 million for him...blows my mind.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but if someone who has experience with Football Manager and modding, and, doesn't mind having a short conversation with me to help me figure a few things out, I'd appreciate it. Just inbox me and maybe we can hook up on FB messenger or skype or something like that. Appreciate it friends.
