If it helps the guys on here, you're free to use my copy. I don't know how it works though, can't I share it through steam. Let me know if you have problems.
I know my brother in law let me play a game on his steam for a while a few years back. It's not like I have much to steal on there. I just have pes and fm 18 lol.
I'm thanking you for your trust and sharing, i will perhaps take a look at it when i'm done finishing my "job" (remaking fakes faces from Brasileirao).
For a relative good conversion, we need is to exports teams/players with the Fm Editor on .csv/excel (available on steam separatly), or waiting for FmGenieScout version 2018 to be out, if that's not already the case.
There are in fact "hiddens attributes" in FM, like Injury prowness, professionnalism, the wrong foot rating on a 1-20 scale, etc.
You can't see any of that if you don't have Fm Genie Scout or the official FM Editor available on steam.
Here's the example of hidden attributes, by using FM Genie:
Don't bother to understand the attributes weird colors meaning, they're specially "highlighted" in Fm Genie due to the players positions (something else, i don't know), not important.
In the past, you could exports all players attributes on excel with Fm Genie, but since i think FM 2015 you can't, because of legal issues. Now you can just make a simple .jpeg screenshot.
Now, you need the official Fm Editor, but i don't really knows how it works to exports players.
I don't really care to enter all the informations manually BTW... But my concern is all about having an healthy database, related to the same "professionnal" ressource (even Fifa) for created teams/players.
The hardest part of it, is the global conversion: some players can be overpowered especially if you convert them "simply" from FM...
That's the other reason we need some hiddens attributes, in FM two players could have the same amount of basic stats, the same overall... There's, for example, one playing in a top team of PL, the second playing in Indonesian league.
So if you convert it without using hidden attributes, they should have approximatively the same amount of stats or Overall in PES. So on, the player from Indonesia will be, of course, overrated.
But if you use some tricks by using hidden attributes, professionalism or whatever... For sure both will not have the same reputation level or whatever other attributes.
That's the hardeset part of a good global conversion: to find a way for lowering players stats playing from lower leagues.
As you could see, making a good converter is not an easy task.
And i don't even talk from using differents formulas for differents positions, find a way to convert "jumping" or some others attributes which doesn't really have their similitudes in both game (lofted pass, curve, shooting power, attack/def prowess aren't really easy to convert from a game to another either)
It's doable, but since PES 2015, PES rating system have changed, and it became harder to convert now that they rate a bit more with extremes values.
