I'll try to answer...for 'unlocking' true appearances, I believe that those faces aren't in the PS4 database at least, so we can't access them. Some decrypters did manage to find stuff from PES 2014 J League Version in the PES 2018 demo though, so there are some odd things in hidden files.
For the Japan National Team, Konami always includes every player who received a call up from I believe November of the previous year to March of the year of release. So this version includes every player who got called up between November 2016 and March 2017. The number of extra players depends on how many guys Halilhodzic calls up. The reason for dupes is because AFC Champions League teams for some reason don't get live updates or anything, and they are I guess, independent, for lack of a better word. It's not just Japanese players, but you have multiple Paulinhos among others.

Apologies...it was Jon that was licensed. G. Dos Santos did have a duplicate though.
so i guess you won't do the Other Teams Europe this year?
I am glad you like the faces ..I did some teams and donu and buck made others.I this makes me very happy because I admire your job in 2017Hey bro, thanks for the work you did. I did download love the new appearances, gladly I didn't have to base copy anything over from your and voltes base. However I remember doing this around the first time I downloaded your MLS, before the appearance corrections.
I can't remember exactly who the editor was either Erzo or Nicoultras national teams that were included in the BOC file, but there were some conflicts on my setup.
This seems to be an issue only with how, fake representations of players on national teams are dealt with, luckily only a few countries national team players play in MLS. If you used any of those national teams, you may encounter these as well....I found a couple on the latest Brazil fix on Recife.
Now the what I've seen in this particular file, is that a real player is edited on top of a "fake" player on one of the base teams, however his "national fake" duplicate remains although with a different name.
The way the national team editors, as well as myself chose to deal with this is to simply rename the "fake national team version" with the correct name and transferring him onto the created team. Other people choose to base copy or get the stats online and create the player while leaving the "fake national team player" in the free agent pool.
When I imported your latest pack, I found these duplicates used alongside the national team imports. You guys may want to check if you have the same. I included the players default name if you choose to reset the player, and use the hard coded national team version(with fake name), who would probably be correctly named if you used any of those national team imports. Included the list below. You will either find the duplicate in the free agent pool, or a fake version with either a fake name or corrected name on the national teams or from the nations indicated. However the player currently on the teams in your pack are written over default fake players who's names I included. Hope it helps.

I think a few of the guys like Nicoultras in particular did a good job I primarily used his exports. I did however swap out a couple teams for traditionally successful teams, alas making corrections in conjunction with and preventing conflicts with the I believe erzo's national team exports.
I don't mind uploading what I have for anyone that wants the same setup, but I believe for the most part it's almost the same as nicoultras and rawkus's, I believe's exports/packages, aside from the compatibility fixing and swapping out of a couple teams.
Here's a list of my European teams, since I made edits I forget which ones are default licensed with Konami.

Oh, also I used a fun combination for the asian teams...from Barca4eva, Doremagesu, and Ketchupgamers I believe?
I used some of the Australian teams, plus Yokohama(Japan), Al Sadd(Qatar), and Ceres(Philippines)
Absolutely great job. I particularly did enjoy it since, I like to start become a legend mode in MLS (I'm American lol) and work my way up...
can you name the fake teams you used as base?
I´m really looking for teams on this fake teams
Blookrows
Saintragler
Celuvaris
it seems impossible to find any teams based on these fakes
I looked and reset all my other Euro teams. I think the problem you're having is, many people used Cristiano's Bundesliga...including myself. I believe those teams were base teams used in Cristano's OF.
However it's not too difficult to base copy a downloaded team over...to suit your setup.
Here is my method to prevent any errors:
1. Find a team you want to import and import it onto the default team it was base copied over, make sure box 2 is checked, and you can check box 1 if you want to see which team before you proceed. (Don't save OF after)
2. Find the "proper" representations of real players, if any, are on the team. You can do this by going to edit player, and using the Triangle button on PS4 or Y on Xbox, and resetting each individual to see if they were edited. You should do this also to the team you plan to base copy on to also, if it's currently default you needn't worry about it. (Don't save OF after)
3. Go to data management and choose Load, and because you didn't save anything in steps 1 and 2, this will reset your OF to the way it was before you did steps 1 and 2, but now you know which players are "proper" representations and need to be transferred instead of base copied, or else you get duplicates.
4. Repeat Step 1.
5. Make sure the team you would like to base copy to, has the same amount of players, as the team you want to base copy from, this does not include the "proper" representations of players. Example being, If a team has 26 players and 4 are "proper" make sure the destination team has 22 players. If no "proper" ones, then you need 26 on the destination team. (Don't save OF after)
6. Base copy players 1 by 1 from the team you imported, to the desired destination team, remember this does not apply to the "proper" ones. (Don't save OF after)
7. Now that the players are base copied, transfer, if any the "proper" ones to the desired destination team. (Don't save OF after)
8. This time import the same team again, but IMPORTANT boxes 1 and 3 MUST be checked, and box 2 must NOT be checked.
***If you check box 2, this will apply player and squad data and bring all the players from the original export to your destination team, leaving the original imported team with 16 players, and send all the destination team players into the free agent pool.***
When prompted, choose the destination team that you just base copied all the players to. (Don't save OF after)
9. Now, go to data management and choose export team, and export the destination team that is now a full base copy of the original import. (Don't save OF after)
10. It's important that you didn't save the OF at any time before this, because now, you once again go to data management and select Load. This will put your OF back into the state before any of this, the state it was in before you even began, before step 1. (Don't save OF after)
11. Now you have your new base copied export, based on the team of your choosing, and you can now import that file, and the original conflict with the original import file is eliminated, and that file no longer needed. (Don't save OF after)
12. Finally go to edit players, and team, and double check to make sure that everything is the way it should be. If it is satisfactory and everything is as you expected, NOW save. And you have a TED file that is compatible with your setup.
Sounds more complicated than it actually is, and like a lot of work. Though I admit it's a little tedious, it takes about 10-15 minutes per team, which includes making sure there's no discrepancies.
I don't know how anyone else does it, but this is my method and it's pretty full proof, and guarantees no conflicts arise, but the directions must be followed carefully and in the correct order.
Hope it can be of some help to whoever needs it. I've had to do it countless times, for entire leagues/continents to make my preference for teams/countries all fit together compatibly when they come from many different sources...while also eliminating chances for duplicates and other errors. Cheers!
Do I have to edit the player numbers also manually for each player?
yes, you are right, i`m using the PES Galaxy Bundesliga OF which is without a doubt the best one that is available. Bad thing is they chose the wrong teams as base just like last year.
thanks for the guide, this is really good. But to be honest this will not be done in 15 minutes for one team. Guess i have to live with these shady fake teams. Or maybe i just give it a try and will spend some spare time on it lol

Sorry mate, but i only used to FM since PES 3 to convert players to PES and have a good aknowledge about attributes, but i've never have played this game more than 1 season a few years ago
But there are many people here who can help you for that
Btw i don't want to buy FM only to made a converter, but i will "try" the demo (by only taking a look at rosters and attributes changes)
